What happened to the science videos?

I’m getting a PhD in physics, specifically optical atomic clocks. Don’t have time for the physics videos anymore. Honestly don’t have the motivation either, I want to do research in the lab, come home and kayak. Plus youtube has changed in the past 6 years. The extremely low production value, while it was not good at the time, wasn’t that far off people’s expectations. As an audience nowadays y’all expect much more. I’d have to put so much more effort into engaging demos, selecting appropriate topics, animations, cameras, locations, etc. I do really like making videos, but not to that level of production. Not to the level that is required. Clearly I still love science, and some things I learned building circuits back then have been helpful with atomic clocks, as rudimentary as those skills were. As an audience I hope y’all have progressed to watching better science videos, and becoming better scientists just as I have progressed to getting my PhD and hopefully becoming and academic myself.
