Agree completely. The irony is that he was cast in a gangland drama tv show here in Dublin called Love/Hate and shortly after got himself into a bit of trouble with the law, all over the rag papers and I thought to myself, “what a pity, he showed real raw talent and he’s off down the wrong path”. Little did I know, and I’m thrilled for the man.

Dunkirk he wasn’t anything special. Also in eternals, he was decent and probably one of the best characters but the screenplay was still so dull that he couldn’t save it

The chemistry and communication between them is really strong. Beautiful

I think the casting of Jacob Elordi for saltburn was so brilliant. As we all know his previous characters have been this horrible people and I think it contributed to the surprise effect(? that in a way saltburn had regarding the plot

@@birdchurch9488 you see him through Barry’s character’s eyes… He is the sun for him so yes he might not be the worst of the bunch but he isn’t much different from his mom. Picking up strays to feel good…strange relationship with his sister and so on..

I’ve been such a massive Jacob fan for a while now (for more than just his good looks of course!) and I’m so happy to have been introduced to Barry! These two are magic together. I really love to know that the actors really enjoy each other outside of the film, it always adds an extra air of chemistry! Such a great film that I will watch again and again❤️❤️

@@kaseyshea I’ve seen Priscilla and Sweet East and there wasn’t nothing remarkable. I think you only find him a good actor if you were a fan of his before. He doesn’t come close to say Barry or his peers. But you stated you’ve been a fan for a long time so you’re biased.

These two were brilliant in Saltburn. What a trippy shocking hilarious haunting film.

Elordi choosing Heath is lovely. He’s still such an inspo to our young Aussie actors.

I was so happy to hear Jacob mention Philip Seymour Hoffman. He really was one of the greats, I first saw him in The Talented Mr. Ripley and have loved his acting ever since. Great answer!

I just got out of the theatre after watching Saltburn. Oooooh baby. I'm so glad nothing got sppiled for me. It's a riot. Dark, DARK comedy. Another brilliant performance from Barry Keoghan. He is my Roman Empire now.

Saltburn #1 in both the UK and USA today on Amazon Prime. Well done on creating a brilliant film. I am not sure if the cast and all involved have yet realised that they have created a genuinely classic movie.

"Saltburn" is a good movie. I enjoyed all of it. Each character, in the film, was just as interesting as the other.

saltburn was amazing! shocked it was only at the theaters a few weeks. both gave amazing performances. barry has won me back after his marvel fiasco. I highly recommend it. Best not to watch with parents or kids.
