Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department arrives to heavy fire to a house RAW footage

JFRD responded to single family residence with heavy fire showing through the roof towards the front of the house. The fire was in the attic, had melted the siding to the two neighboring houses and wanted to burn this entire house down.
Crews worked quickly to get inside the house, pull ceilings and stop the fire from burning the roof off all the way to the back of the house while also knocking down as much as they could protecting the exposure homes.
There were no injuries in this fire, and the cause is under investigation.

Glad that there were no injuries to anyone related to this incident, it was obvious that the house was a total loss, hope the residents of the house were able to recover from it. Thank you to all firefighters everywhere for protecting the citizens of your coverage area.

The way those houses have zero property lines and how the houses are built today, this is a great stop. With this type of fire, the exposures become a priority. I know how these homes are built, I lived in 2 areas off of Kernan and saw first hand how cheaply they are made. I'm a volly from up north, moved back to my home town. No matter what others have said, this was a great stop, exposures were protected, you guys did all you could do to save the house.

How about the little guy that was pulling hoes and got maybe a foot of hose and then stood up and was so tired that he tripped over the hose. How about that little fire in the right front of the garage that was cooking that hose jacket. Would have been easy to knock down the visible fire on the roof line of the garage before even attempting to open or enter the garage. Sorry if this hurts, but it's all true. That's just what I saw up to that point. I stopped watching and left this comment because it was all rookie like.
