I first played the USA model last year at guitar center I recently played then purchased SDX paid $529 for it what I found between both Models feel and tone was relatively Nothing both have fantastic feel and Tone and both have incredible quality craftsmanship I dont see or hear Anything that justifies the $2,000 + price tag on the USA Model

I own the Maple version of the SDX and love it. The low output single coils are great for Praise and Worship and Gospel. They can twang and chime pretty well. My fave sig at the moment is the LTD James Hetfield Snakebyte, I got a used one for my birthday a few months back, and it's beast.

This guitar arrived this week and I am very happy with it. It is a fantastic piece of wood. In the last few months I had the the "mission impossible" task: finding a mid-range price guitar with a neck which is so comfortable as an Ibanez and has a sound like a strato or tele. I went to a few music stores and tried about 30-40 guitars of different brands (Fender, Squier, Ibanez, Gibson, Epiphone, PRS, FGN, Schecter, Vintage, Yamaha..) but none of them met my requirements. Then accidentally I read in a forum that Charvel is producing starto- and telecasters with comfortable necks. But they are very pricey and they are very rare on the second hand market where I live (Austria). After that I started look into Jackson guitars as a more affordable version of Charvel. This review helped me a lot to choose this guitar. Thx for it!

I picked up this guitar (black guard/maple neck) for a backup to my Charvel Pro Mod. For the price... this thing is Awesome! It has rolled fingerboard edges like a Charvel (but the Charvel has a smoother edge and back). The pickups are surprising good. I love the single coils so no reason to change those. The HB has a nice punch and bite - -also surprised at that and will keep it too. My only complaints are that the FR Special is tight to adjust and will require some break in time along with the back of the neck and the control knobs. The tone control actually works very well with the pup setup. The only really bad feature is the crappy tuners which you only use when replacing strings. Well worth the price (which is half of the Charvel)! I wholeheartedly recommend!

Love that angelic white color, and that tone, You play it so well.. I've got a signature Elvis Presley fender acoustic in the house guitar collection. It plays pretty good. There's a certain way you got to play it to get the most from it, the action is a little high, but once you get the feel, it turns into a really great guitar. It's pretty cool, it's beige colored, polished, no paint I think, the neck is thin like, but thick. It has a worm bass like tone, that's what I like best about it. I feel somewhat like Elvis playing it, ;)

Amen!!! Looks and sounds great to me. Even the neck pick up. My favorite Iron maiden album was KILLERS. This guitar looks like Adrian's I saw on one of their tours. I played a JEM last week. It is wild looking. But ,I have to say it played great and was probably one of the most versatile guitars I have played.

My flea signature jazz bass has got to be the best, Idk how fender was able to make a reliced production model feel like a custom shop but they did lol

Played one awhile back, almost got it but the bridge pickup sounds too weak, and the headstock shape doesn't sit right with me. I like the strat headstock a lot, but this one is just cut and shaped slightly differently.

Best signature model I've played and owned was the Jeff Hanneman ESP/LTD model...The LTD model alone can compete with ANY of the top models on the market...The quality is 2nd to none.

I see there's no routing underneath the trem. Does this mean it's sitting on the body, or are you still able to bend the strings up? My main problem with Floyd Rose guitars (provided they are set up correctly and stay in tune) is the free floating bridge, it really gets in my way when I'm using a litte more force on mutes and rhythm playing. I was wondering if I still would have this problem with this guitar...

They said this one sets on the body and you cant pull back on it.. if you wanted to you could float it to where you could pull back on it some but you would have to readjust your string height etc... to do it.

Just subbed! Have I been under a rock? Anyway...great crawling from under and finding this channel. I browsed and downloaded everything I saw for a binge watch weekend. I love the bridge pickup on this guitar. Can you get a hardtail version or anything other than a Floyd? I guess I could block the bridge to help with tuning stability? Or is there a Floyd upgrade that addresses that issue? Anyone know? Thanks.

I prefer the Dinky, but this sounds pretty damn good. The fact it has a trem system and the works makes it a good buy for the price. My favorite Jackson USA signature guitar I've seen would have to be the KV6 by Corey Beaulieu. Just looks mega evil, but I'd never buy the USA one. I'm broke. 😂

jason becker pickup in the bridge, teleset or tex mex in the middle and the neck, sounds like a 2000 guitar, plays like a 5k.
