Holier Than Thou and Peace Sells - you're my hero, man! Sounds pretty damn good.

Got too meet him too and play holy wars on bass for him best time of my life
The "singing" bit at the end.... ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE!!!
Guys, I just purchased my second Jackson. I now have the David Ellefson signature model in 4 string and just purchased the JS2 concert bass. Love Jackson guitars.
This song is called... DOMINATION!
These dudes made me wanna play bass again, and a Jackson!
Oh my god, that livin on a prayer jam at the end was amazing. I would pay for that mp3 lmao
I just bought a js3vq in cherry burst...cant wait to get that beast !!!
The talkbox is a great idea !
Love Nathan but I'm really liking lee taking the reigns on leading the videos. I don't even mind the yeahs. Nice work Andertons!
Normally wouldn’t have given these a 2nd lok, but I’m really impressed with the JacksonV string with neck thru body construction. Always been a RIC, Höfner, fender P, J, and Telebass player. But I hear promise in the white one, especially with T-I jazz flats. YEAH BABY. well played by 2 talented and studly human beings! Let’s see more!
Bought a jackson in may and it sounds and works great! the only drawback is that it doesn't feel handmade like a fender.
Intro sounds suspiciously Pantera-ish

That's because it is.
I owned a JS 3 about 8years ago. Loved everything about it except the polyurethane finish on the neck. It would get sticky when my hands were sweaty. I recently picked up the JS2 and it feels the same but with a nice satin finish on the neck. I don't mind the passive pickups as I don't need to worry about keeping extra batteries with the bass.
I just gotten that David ellefson Kelly bird red and it's awesome
Mind blowing,David Ellefson of Megadeth bass series.....I feel bass for me is epic
I have Jackson David Ellefson CBX V QS and this bass if frickin awsome. Finish is great, sound is really good (if you like "Junior" bass playing it`s a must-have), passive EMG pickups with active EQ works great and last but not least - it has one small feature i really like - pots have "click-point" on middle position, so you always know where you are ;)
Had the 4 and 5 string David Ellefson Kelly Birds for the last 4 years now (got both on their initial release) and they're 2 of my favourite basses, even more than my 2 Fender Jazz basses (Flea and Marcus Miller). Never let me down. I don't treat my basses to delicately either yet they haven't picked up a single ding or scratch. I got my 4 string signed by Gus G too which is nice! I've also played the 4 string JS3 and it sounds exactly the same as the Kelly Bird basses. Not much sound difference between any of them to be honest, however they are a lot more than just rock/metal basses, don't be fooled by the looks! Some of the most versatile basses Ive ever played. I've played anything ranging from funk to jazz to full on Megadeth on those basses and they're just as good at everything else as they are metal! I want another Jackson more than I want my next breath! I think of Jackson as the Ferrari of the guitar world, except I could never afford 2 Ferraris and be planning to get a third!

I know this comment was years ago, but how’s the neck dive on the Kellybird? Is it similar to a Thunderbird?

@@travisbuckley7299 I haven't played many Thunderbirds but it's pretty much a case of don't let go of the neck if you don't want your headstock to slam to the ground so I'm guessing similar? Having said that, they're surprisingly comfy to play. Still got them both to this day! Never bought a third Jackson though as I made the rather large investment of a Status Graphite 😬 Although I would really like to get my hands on a classic 90s Jackson with a PJ configuration.
I have the black JS3Q Jackson bass and its onenof the finest basses that I ever played and they definitely got more balls than the kelley bird basses . I was planning to get the kelley bird but Im glad I decided to go with the JS3Q bass because it has heavy low end tone and a nice growl to it . I love my Jackson bass and wont gibe it up for nothing. and the feel of the neck is great .
love jackson basses!
I think it’s about time they do an update on the Jackson models sort of revisit this brand
I love my CBXNT IV.
Great opener guys!!! That's what I'm talkin about
"Living on a Prayer" all bass version! Yeah!!!
First 1:30 awesome playing guys
Great prices on these basses. They sound mint and look cool. Sweet :)
They certainly seem to have a particular sound, even with different pickups. I wonder why
Domination in the beggining tho
Domination!! 👍👍
Wouldn't mind seeing an episode on some LTD basses please :-) .

Awesome ending
finally bass guitar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fan of the Jackson's here, i own a couple of cbx IV DE old model (i don't like the knobs config from his new one) and a cbxNTV, great sounding and looking basses, some says they are mostly to "play metal", but as show in the vid, they are versatile on any style. BTW, just notice that Jackson are stop producing some "old" models like the ones from this review, replacing them with horrendous looking new ones, which were showed on NAMM this year, so be quick to grab any of this if you can.
Ask an you shall receive with you guys?!!!! Watched earlier an mentioned the David Elifson an low an behold....here you are!!!! Thank you bruthren!!! Next question: What's Les Claypool play?
I'm in love with the Thunderbird-esque model!

Do any of these come as lefty? Particularly like the quilt top one! Great playing lads!!
Holier than thou 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
ITS DOMINATION!!!
I bought a JS2 on a whim and I will say that the tome is pretty monstrous and growly, but the neck was too wide and flat for me. I would recommend though and are great for their price range

Please show us the new jackson basses, Minion and Concert series CBXNT
That domination the real way. Damn
My Dad has a Jackson 4 string from 1990 and it is the standard against which I judge other basses. He also has the Dave Ellefson sig from 2 years ago (bit different than these) and it leaves a lot to be desired. I like Jackson guitars but they are not what they were in their heyday when Grover was around.

The10000lbGorilla grover left the company in 1990. He sold it to the international music corporation of for worth Texas in 1989
I like the white one
I wonder if lead and rhythm bassists will become a thing... (The way they played at the beginning)
that bon jovi talkbox jam was awesome
The CBXNTV is my fav bass since 2014 :-(
Hey,...what is the "NATURAL" j bass wth the rosewood neck in the background,...if you guys don't mind me asking? I can't read the name of the bass. Looks amazing. : )
Would like to hear some heavy sounds! Awesome vids though
Jackson is in my blood :p
I was expecting the ridiculous stretch of the domination solo on the bass. But then I thought you’d probably have to dislocate and manipulate fingers to make that work
Bout your thoughts on B.C. Rich Basses?
Do they make a lefty version? I haven't been able to find one and I don't want to pay custom shop prices
im trying to decide i would like the jackson sr3q also would like an ibanez sr300 ..i aleady own 2ibanezes 1 kramer 1 bc rich and 1 aria acoustic all 4 strings. which would you recommend the jackson or the ibanez? i am a finger player!!
Is it me or do the David Ellefson concert bass and kelly bird sound quite a bit different
do a Rickenbacker 4003 next
i have to wonder if the Bird bass will neck dive like crazy!! as they are known to....anybody got an answer? Please.....
what about the passive one though!
if you are going to test rock/metal basses, get testers that know some decent metal riffs?
If only the kelly was available in green with a either ebony or rosewood fb.
Is the JS3VQ better than the Ibanez RGB305?
What's that song he plays near the start
13:35 my fav
Kick ass
Excelent bass player the guy with White shirt
I'm not a big fan of the Jackson headstock but the basses look decent.
maybe some video about basses under 600$ , or amp plus bass under 1000

That was the funkiest rock i’ve ever heard
can you guys test spector coda basses? theres nothing about them online
i sounded like that last time i went to the dentist ouch!
I bought a Jackson I’m not that happy the battery constantly dies. I believe it’s wired in incorrectly
@rockereivanivan

do you unplug it every time you finish playing? battery drains out if you keep it plugged in
These basses are made for distortion i feel clean is cool but the raw metal sound is even better
Funky domination
Yeah, and yeah, so yeah. Papa bless you Lee, that jar will be filled in no time (unless you keep cheating). :-)
The KellyBird looks awesome but it’s probably the most uncomfortable bass out there.

I’m pretty sure Nathan is actually a guitarist, he plays guitar in Level 42 (a funk band which was pretty big in the 80s-90s) and his brother, Mark King, played bass in that band and he is also recognised as a great bassist. Nathan, on the other hand is I’m pretty sure a guitarist who also plays bass,

Yeah, once some guy decided to run an experiment. He took a Jackson Randy Rhoads V and started cutting pieces from it gradually and playing it. At the end a strange little piece of wood that had been left from a guitar still sounded great.

does the guy in the black shirt know any thing about these bass's because he has gotten every spec wrong.....3 band EQ and two volumes..WTF...maybe a volume and a blend..yeah lets try that.....
WTF is the mouth piece?!!!! Sounds like some Peter Frampton, an Bon Jovi I believe you closed the episode with...
