yeah that's true, you can't beat the original basses that came out in the early 90's

Also the JS3 has a compound radius fretboard which is a nice feature.

i personally think that its good for a guitarist to understand the concepts of bass player that why both a guitarist and bassist have the integrity of showing each others skills and knowledge to writing a good song :P

Actually its more the bird of a BC Rich Mocking Bird as thats what David used before he became a Jackson man :P

The kelly bird looks like a wierd offspring of a B.C. Rich Mockingbird and a Gibson Thunderbird (Firedbird Bass)

the higher end one would be around 300 I think, and the less expensive one would be around 275.

Don’t say never, I’ve met him quite a few times. He’s a super nice guy.

Just love this whole design, anyway there are some things that I don't like: the controls are positioned terribly, too crammed, too close to the "don't interefere-with-my-playing area". Active circuit is just fluff, skip that, simply volume&balance, maybe a kill switch, period. But then, I know, at this pricepoint the kids need knobs :)

I bet he will have his american version, as always.
