Absolutely lovely to see Lewis the apprentice. He would be a lucky little boy to learn from one of the greats in the knife making world . The knives are beautiful. Future apprentice...now that really would be something special wouldn't it. Some nice knives there Sandy...something you wouldn't think about unless you are a knife builder...carbon steel embedded on the belts and I'm guessing vice versa

They're all beautiful knives, Sandy, but I think the stabilised elm looks particularly good. Lewis is coming along nicely - won't be too long before he's out enjoying nature with you.

Hello. If I may ask, how do you heat treat SF 100? It is very similar to Sandvik 14x28N but factory heat treat recommendations are quite different. Sandvik soak time 6 min for 3mm but SF100 30 min....

Phil, If you Google "Jacklore prices" you can see the price there. The truth is the knives take ma an inordinate amount of time to build and i don't build many, sometimes just a couple per week. Generally get snapped up real quick.
