first style of jet li i think was crane style and then switched to praying mantis then jackie went with crouching tiger

I was lucky enough to have my dad introduce me to all the old Chinese classics where it was where they first used wire teams and had the fighters flying around...so epic. So when I see great movies with fight scenes like these it just takes me back to when both Jackie and Jet were very young...lol Keep the vids coming!!!

Amazing fight from 2 true legends

for jackie: the first one is the drunken fist technique. the second is the tiger claw and the last one is not a mantis, its crane... jet li only used the mantis... probably because jet li studied wushu while jackie chan studied real kung fu...the stunts that jackie demonstrated are impeccable while jet li's moves is fluid because wushu has to have clean moves.

Jet li studied real kung fu his kumg fu is nothern shaolin styles while Jackie Chan learned nothern and southern shaolin styles

Do you guys know about the KZread channel martial club? These Chinese American kids from SoCal grew up on Hong Kong action cinema, and started showcasing their skills on KZread. Just regular kids passionate about kung fu, and wushu. Now, after having gained exposure through YT, they’ve recently performed for Donnie yen, and Iron Mike at the Ip Man 3 premiere, AND choreographed a Jackie Chan commercial along side Jackie Chan, and starred in a Jackie Chan documentary! These kids are no joke. Check em out.

I don't know if you guys know this, but Jackie Chan actually got his start into martial arts from acting. Specifically drama movies. While jet li was a martial artist before being an actor.

Supposedly Jet Li and Jackie Chan were too fast in the first takes of this scene and the director had to tell them to slow down so the cameramen could keep up.

not sure if u guys have seen Donnie Yen vs Jet Li.. they were much younger than (and Donnie was still not an a-list actor in hk/china yet). The movie is Once Upon A Time In China 2... Jet Li stars as Wong Fei Hong (also a real person from Fo Shan, China.. which is also where Ip Man was in the first movie before he ran to Hong Kong.. but Wong Fei Hong was from a much earlier period than Ip Man. the entire series was good and propelled Jet Li to an a-list actor just like Ip Man did for Donnie Yen.
