One of the most health and safety fight scene of Jackie Chan 😄😅🤣😆😂👏👏👏👏👍👍👍👍
I think this is the best Jackie's fight in term of pure martial arts, many may consider the roof top fight in WHO AM I might be the best, but there are some sloppiness cause the actor they using weren't in the same level of Jackie's stunt team. However this fight is the two legends showcase their pure skills, every punch kick is on point, quick, clean and no abundance, there is no single unnecessary attack, it's just perfect.
We just lost BJ Allan!!!! Amazing martial artist. RIP Bud....

Funny of what what you commented
Brad Allen was a humble guy and said he never wanted to be 'famous' and was more comfortable more behind the camera working martial arts choreography...kind of a big waste really IMO because he was amazing on camera, right up there in talent with the very best martial arts movie stars of all time, and I would have LOVED to see him work ON camera more!

I have to argue with the sentiment that it was "kind of a waste." This immense talent ended up giving movies and television some of the most important action choreography of the last two decades. Hell-boy 2, Kingsman, Scott Pilgrim, Star Wars, and even Shang-chi - which has been dedicated to him. Did we get enough of him on-screen to truly enjoy his physical skills for ourselves? No. Did he do what he wanted and still manage to give us years and years of contributions to both cinematic action and martial arts? Undeniably. I am glad he did what he was happiest doing and he must have been a smart and dedicated person for Jackie Chan to make him the first foreigner welcomed to the JC Stunt Team. So, RIP Brother Allen, and thanks for everything you helped make a bit more amazing to watch!

@@USMCCombatVet4TastyCrayons Well said, JT., true that...I better understand now, Brad Allen did what HE loved and more power to him. And WOW, I said "Brad Allen was." 3 years ago, and he just died recently. "WAS"? I know it was 3 years ago but I really don't recall typing "was" but "is". Kinda spooky lol.
That’s Brad Allan, a member of Jackie’s stunt team who has gone on to do stunt coordination for films like Kick-Ass, Kingsman, Pacific Rim and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World.
Oh that guy. I saw a documentary about Jackie Chan's stunts, that white guy was part Jackie's stunt team.

The chinese words Jackie saw there meant "smile for a moment"
RIP 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Bradley James Allen
Just FYI about the gloves. At the start of the fight BA gave Jackie the lighter glove which gave Jackie the advantage. The boxing gloves have more padding so the punches doesn't hurt as much. In the scene where they hit each other in the ear, you can see clearly BA took the worst of it because of the padding and he knew it. He asked for time so he can switch gloves. Jackie gave him the shrug, like yeah its only fair, and they continued on with a fair one.
"Every rom-com needs a scene like this!" Ain't that the truth.
He use to work with Jackie Chan Stunt Team.
I love you guys! Thank you for reacting to this. This movie is an all time classic.
Not to be off topic, but I absolutely LOVE how you and your family do this together. People don't do that as much anymore.
Your reactions to this is as funny as the scene itself. Haha, awesome upload guys! God bless!
I love watching yall enjoy this fight as much as I did
he lost the first time. thats why the guy gave him a handicap. jacky chan ask, are you sure?

i reconize the talen of jackie chan but its know that the best fist martial art is the boxe one, so if jackie didnt learned boxe betwne his two fight hr normaly would have lost
There are 3 fights in City Hunter that I would like to recommend you check out: 1) Jackie vs Gary Daniels. 2) The Street Fighter 2 fight. 3) The final fight against the main villain.
I love how you guys react, no gigitty or fake reactions
Love you jackie chan from india
Love the movie. Brad Allen, if not mistaken was one of Jackie’s stunt guys, was given role in this movie. A little background for this movie and scene: Jackie was an orphan who worked for everything and is now successful businessman. He grew up with a friend, that grew up rich, who always competed with and is now is similar business, Jackie uses recycled while other guy uses plastic. Both are successful. The other guy cannot fight well neither can his henchmen (two of them are also in this scene). Jackie has not kept up with his training so the friend brings in Brad Allen, whose smaller then Jackie, in to fight Jackie. At start they both use the smaller gloves, then brad calls timeout to switch to larger ones because of the extra padding. So now Jackie has size and gloves adv. Brad wins. Jackie starts training again, not for revenge. A girl Jackie was dating (first movie where jackie has a romantic lead, I think) and him split and Jackie is sad, why he was alone dropping paper clippings into a bottle. The henchmen bring brad to fight him again to kinda avenge their boss but has to do with the guys business experiencing problems.
randomly came across your video. this is great. reacting to Jackie Chan. I love it. you should find the chinese version with english subtitles. you dont have to react to it but the dialogue is pretty important and funny haha. anyways awesome vid~~ subscribed~~

Yes he does, wonder why these guys thought differently. It's not the speed as much as the impact of a punch with lesser padding that makes the difference.
james allan was also (and at that time) a member of Jacky chan's stunt team. the first white guy to be so. jacky was in a sense (and in reality) his Sifu (mentor, master)

Adding to that: The magazine on the side which reads "笑一笑" means "just smile" which reminded him of what his gf always says. And when Brad Allen went over to see it and couldn't understand it, Jackie says "Don't worry, be happy!" and it's the most adorable thing in a fight scene ever I love them both so much

Sunny ya. it's the funny part. lol
Brad Allan did a great job coping with the demands of Jackie’s kind of fight choreography; it is very draining and his style is difficult, requiring a lot of sense of timing and natural rhythm, as well as camera awareness. A lot of people outside the fold that tried working in Hong Kong action movies around this time and before struggled with it; a prime example being pointed out in _Jackie Chan: My Stunts_ whilst showing behind-the-scenes footage from _Who Am I?_ In the documentary it says that Ron Smoorenburg struggled with some of the timing of certain parts of the fight scene - you also see Jackie becoming frustrated as a result - and there is one whole section in which Brad doubled him, as the latter coped far better with the timing in that particular scene.
Brad Allan is also was a stunt coordinator in Kingsman (2017)

Seriously? Damn, that explains a LOT.
Jackie suddenly smiling like he that was less about the power of love and more about loosening up. As his love interest points out to him, during their first fight he was tense. It's the same in first half of this fight. He's too tensed up, and that can make it a lot harder to fight. By recalling times he spent with her, he was able to let that tension drain out, loosening up his muscles, and allowing him to just enjoy the fight for what it was. There's nothing on the line here, Brad Allen's character isn't malicious in any way as he's just in it to get a good fight, so he can just relax and have fun fighting a friendly rival.
You guys have to watch this movie. This was actually one of my favorite Jackie Chan films! =D
1 of the best fight, also they show us that every fighter is same & all there brothers.
The white dude in that scene is Brad Allen. He was the first non-Asian to ever join Jackie Chan's stunt team. He's an incredible martial artist and was the stunt coordinator on a tremendous number of films including The Chronicles of Riddick, Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, Pacific Rim, and both Kingsman movies

Sadly he passed away last year. Due to an illness. Since nobody every says which one I assume it was covid.
You guys are awesome. Please react to Once upon a time in China fight scenes. Y'all love it.
The bigger gloves pad the effect of landed punches. He gives Jackie the advantage with the less padded gloves. That’s why later in this fight he then removed his own big gloves to remove his handicap.

Exactly. It's almost an insult to Jackie's character, saying you can use the more damaging gloves because I'm so much better.

A very under rated fight scene.

I don't care ... Allen's bicycle kick at 5:29 was and always will be sick!!!!
VERY GOOD KK Especially the part where they CROSS-EYED KKK LOL😂😂🤣
I'm a big fan of HK action movie and Jackie Chan, Donnie Yen etc. But I have to clarify that many of the fighting scene are indeed sped up. It's a filming technique called overcranking. Nonetheless the fact doesnt undermine how impressive those fight choreographies are.
Jackie Vs Benny the Jet.. 1985 also another great fight
Another movie I just thought about was City Hunter. The 1v1 fight with Jackie Chan and the "Ken Masters" looking guy in his bedroom.
No one will recreate Jackie chan ever. We'll never see his like again

I watch this fight scene a couple of times a week since my brother showed it to me lol nobody can tell me that Jackie Chan isn’t the shit 🤷🏽♀️
Jackie wasn't at a disadvantage with those gloves. The other guy was using proper gloves so his strikes wouldn't hit Jackie as hard.
You didn't explain that Bradley James Allan WAS actually Jackie Chan's student.
Brad Allen R.I.P
My Favourite action - comedy star. Btw he's a good singer too.

lol jackie was like 45 years old in gorgeous. wonder if they knew that.
Both are very good legend Jacki
Ugh. As other comments have said, the heavier gloves are slower and more padded. They hurt less and are slower as anyone whose been hit in and out if mma gloves, boxing gloves, etc would know. Plus, it's obvious by the context that the white dude is insulting him by giving him the smaller gloves
Made me laugh so hard 🤣 good fighters

I believe this movie was release near Chinese New Year. Tons of Romance Comedy during that time of year. Any fighting or "fighting" or conflicts are pretty easy on the blood and no death, just bad luck.
Very fun fight nice
See and react to Azumi 1 pretty young ones vs. 200 samurai's
React to Donnie Yen as Ip Man in the series, his faster than all of these 2 combined because he uses Wing Chun like Bruce Lee, but Sifu Lee went even faster than any biody ever. Ip Man pronounce Yee-ip Man was Sifu Bruce own Grandmaster who taught him the water philosophy.
Since it's Italian we can supplement the dialog between Doc Hollyday and Johnny Ringo....and replay lol
RIP James..
How many time they said WTF Anyone counting LOL 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Rip Brad Allan ; /
the background of this movie, is jackie chan has a brother, and his brother is kinda like the black sheep, jackie chan is RICH that is his factory, he owns a recycling rubbish factory, and he is a Millionaire, his brother kinda like a big kid and sees jackie as the more succesful and more talented better brother, so in a kinda light hearted brotherly way, he always trys to take jackie down, so eventually he hired this white guy, he said to jackie hes going to find someone, smaller, faster, and if hesbetter lookign even better, and im going get him to beat you in a fight,,, so he beaten by a smaller faster better looking guy, lets see how that makes him feel.... its not in a evil way his brothers just like a big kid... its a comedy drama, and JAckie falls for that girl whose poor country girl, and shes the one that makes him smile cause hes a bussiness man that kinda forgot about having fun.... so explains the smiling bit,, at the end, it makes sense if you watch the movie, thats why ts not a malicious fight, the guys been hired by his brother just to beat him not hurt him.
Jackie's only romantic movie. I'm not a big fan of this movie but i love the fights in it.

Jackie's lighter gloves are made for mma which are lighter and hurt the opponent more with less padding.
React to Jackie Chan in Amour of God where he fights 5 women
When I watched this movie (probably when i was still in high school time maybe like 30 years ago), I dont care much about the speed or the martial arts. What an important thing is, Jackie is gonna win that fight 🤣. When i watched it again now, i realised wow ! how can they fight with such a speed? It is incredible ❤
