You must have the movie in order to know that, because that's how I found out.

Donnie yen is a real life badass. once, in hong kong, him and his girlfriend were in a club, a bunch of guys started harassing her. yen tried to be peaceful and they got out of the club, but those guys followed and started a fight. yen put nine of those guys in the hospital. check it out it's real.

Finally people that appreciate Donnie Yen. All people really talk about is jet li and Bruce lee but, now you know Donnie.

Guys, the so apreciated potato is not due to comunism. The People's Republic of China was not founded until year 1949 and this scene is suposed to be from the Japanese invasion era, about year 1943. It happens that food was very limited and it was a period of starvation for the Chinese. In theis film, Chinese fighting masters were offered to fight against japanese for food (rice).

Hey, I'm from Hong Kong. This is a great video and really thanks for respecting the Chinese. This was a real fight when the war of Japan vs China was on-going in 1942. That guy was called Ip Man. He is the best Kung Fu fighter in the history. This fight was performed again by this movie and you can see how terrible were the Chinese life at that time. They were always bullied by the Japanese. I am pleased to see you guys respecting us and I really hope that there will be more Westerners can know more about Kung Fu. Thank you.

Just to clarify some stuff for you guys. Yes, Japan invaded China. This here is ficitional but the story is that, Donnie Yen was told that he could fight for rice during the war and he went to take part in it and then you see his friend getting killed, and the potato was from lunch when he was at work before he was informed about the fighting for rice thing.
