Gonna have to disagree with the other comment. This one is not good; the version here is the HK cut where Jackie went back and re-shot some of the fight. That's probably the one to watch but don't expect Project A.

This is Battle Creek Brawl levels of clunkiness and awkwardness

Agreed...I followed Bill Wallace ever since I was a teen. Long time ago now lol. He was the original super foot for sure. Early in his Athletic career he had a injury to his right knee. You don't see him use it much mostly a left leg kicker . Always entertaining to watch even with the terrible sound effects by today's standards lol. Ty for sharing

I remember he commentated at the first ever UFC event and he messed up the title 5 seconds in, “Hi everyone and welcome to the ultimate fighting challenge” 😂. It was him, some foxy boxing chick Kathy Long, and James Brown (retired American football player) for some reason. The three of them were clueless about what they were seeing, and freaked out in the first 30 seconds when a sumo wrestler got kicked in the head

There is a 1975 Charles Bronson movie called Hard Times, set in 1933. Bare Knuckled fighting. The in last fight scene of the movie, Charles Bronson is fighting a ringer brought in from Chicago. After a long fight, Bronson is winning. The other guy is on the floor and his manager tosses a couple of metals bars, roll of quarter size, on the floor next to him. Just like the guy in the suit does with the with the knuckle duster. Only in Hard Times the fighter on the floor shows more honor and knocks the bars away. Now I have to go watch Hard Times again. Great movie.

I was never a big Jackie Chan fan. Maybe it’s because of the insertion of silliness into the fight scenes. This was probably one of his better fights.

He went on to capture a championship. Just slightly understated my man. Met him several times and never knew he had a injury from judo in fact I didn't know if he played judo.

well from what i know, Jackie choreographed with Benny the most realistic fight scenes together. this one looked more like the typical rhythm whereas the one Jackie did with Benny had really fast real time flow.

This fight looks like it actually moves at a natural speed. Most of Jackie Chan's Hong Kong movies have action that's unnaturally sped up.

@@rojayreid908 Indeed! There have been interviews where they spoke explicitly about changing the tempo of the fights because the Jet felt like it was too slow, where in real fighting the attacks come quicker and sometimes in broken rhythm
