I have the Jackery 240 and the Jackery Solar Saga 60. When using the solar Saga 60 I get between 45w and 55w. I do live at around 8000ft above sea level. When I bought it in early 2020 every review out there said that all charging is capped at 40w. The 12 V and AC charging IS capped at 40w, but it was nice to find out after using it that solar charging is not capped at 40w. At 55w it takes about 4 hours to charge.

No. The higher voltage won't hurt the batteries, after all, the 24VOC solar panel is made for that unit. The 12v/5A charger is fine, but faster charging can be obtained using a 24V/4A supply for only $3 more. Thanks for watching!

Not the higher voltage, but the faster charge. Though this is well under 1c, so it's probably not a big deal. Perhaps they just got a better deal on these chargers (or the components). Thanks for the detailed video. I much enjoyed it.

@@tarstarkusz I think they bought them and realized later that it should've been 24V like the solar panel. 7-8 hrs to fully charge still isn't bad.

And a pretty decent deal. 250wh plus a high quality sine wave inverter for $250 is a pretty good price.

If I could isolate this from extreme temperatures I would use this to power a weather station...winter time will not provide enough solar to power current setup...bloomsky... The ac circuit is useless to me....the unit at $1 per watt is inline with other similar units but the 60 w panel is almost $3 per watt...👎

Really sad the price they charge for these units that they cannot get them built in the USA, I would buy from China before buying from them, I am capable of sending my money to China without a person in the middle to take their share.

@@electronicsNmore that's fine with me. Fyi, when someone is shopping for an item and start watching dozens of videos on those such items, they get tired of listening to technical mumbo jumbo. We just want to see what that item is capable of doing. Once you hear the technical stuff one time( which we can read ourselves on their websites), at that point we just want to see real life applications of that product. You might want to consider that as you review other products.
