I have owned multiple brands and despite the higher price my Jackery is the most problem free of all. My Bluetti sucks. Goal Zero is good quality also, but outdated. Jackery is like a Honda in my opinion.

My RockPal 300 promised 3000 cycles and I didn’t even get 30. Now they don’t make it so they can’t replace it. I’ll go with Jackery from now on.

Way too much money. I built a battery pack with 32 200amp headway cells. And I bought a 200w inverter, and a charger specially made for my battery. All for under a thousand.

I have several smaller units that we bought over time. I've tried to stick with LiFePo4, and have had tremendous success with my small Energizer unit and Bluetti, of course everything we have now is 12V off grid survival level. When one unit gets to about 50%, I plug in the solar and use a different unit while it charges back up.

My jackery never got to leave the house and when needed the most failed to charge. Customer service is non existent. There are forums on our expensive paper weights. Pitiful.

You may be able to power that welder and cutoff saw when this Jackery unit is new, but every time you fire up those inductive loads with this unit's high frequency, transformerless inverter, you're shortening the life expectancy of the MOSFETs because the inverter has no buffer between the MOSFETs and its loads. You'll be lucky to get a year's worth of use running high inductance loads. High frequency inverters are simply not designed to power l oads like refrigerators, microwaves, large power tools, air conditioners or compressors. A much better choice would be to buy or build a solar generator that uses a low frequency, transformer based inverter in its design if you want to run inductive loads.

The title caught my eye. Ive been interested in Jackery products and specifically this big dog generator. Thanks for the info.

I mean compared to what? Off-grid isn't cheap or easy. I mean look at the cost of a Honda generator that you'll probably want to pair with this.

@@ArthurBugorski the eco flow is a bit cheaper but still very expensive I understand where you’re coming from I’m just saying all these are very expensive and hard to get rid of properly when they’re broken or just finished , you can still buy gas or propane powered generators that are reasonably quiet and more reliable for less

I considered a number of those battery packs, and Jackery was not the one I chose. The pack that would support a CPAP machine was more expensive than their competitors. Not a reflection on you Kevin.

I feel I need to comment on this. These videos happen to be rare Tuesday or Wednesday videos not the regular Saturday videos. You are free to watch or to not watch. Perhaps you'd like it better if the channel was a pay-per-view model?

I've wanted one for awhile for my guitar building. Plus I use a cpap too. I'm not that rich though 😅

You can literally buy a generator that will give significantly more power, for the cost of this... If I'm desperate, I won't mind the "noise"... and if I'm not desperate, I wouldn't pay the price their asking for one... This channel is quickly turning into a shill product infomercial.

Whoa. There’s a lot of people unhappy about Kevin making this video. He’s doing what he’s good at. Making content and selling goods for paid sponsors. So what. Sure, KZread pays him every time you watch. But wouldn’t you want some sponsorship swag that is cool and works for what you need? You don’t have to watch it. And you don’t have to buy it. The honour among us is to promote the products that make our daily lives better for the cost. (So, I will say that 4K for a battery is a tough pill for a lot of folk, so I can see why people are negatively commenting) Keep the content coming Kevin! I’ll stop watching if I don’t like it; but I haven’t had a reason so far!
