BADASS Don is correct. I experienced the same thing. Drove myself, sent to a bigger hospital. Got stint, sent home. Can't wait to see him back on the channel. Merry Christmas Kevin and the channel family.

Thanks for letting us know about Don's heart attack, Kevin. I predict he will be up and running as normal in no time! I did the same thing two years ago. Drove myself to the hospital having a heart attack, and after some tests and a couple of days in hospital, had a cardiac catheterization and two stents placed. Immediately felt 100% better. I look forward to seeing Don back on your channel, helping you with all of your wacky projects. He is an important part of the team. Get well soon, Don! ❤💪👍🫀

Thanks Kevin for letting us know about Don's situation. Having seen Don on the channel many times I can say that Don's going to have the hardest time with keeping his BPM under 120, he's not wired for that. Hopefully he'll be out of the hospital soon and he can adjust his lifestyle to accomodate his situation, because Don doesn't stop when he's doing anything, he's like a Duracell Rabbit. Don, please rest up and get better. We would all like to see you again on the channel if you're able to.

Don is a absolute legend. Im glad hes making a recovery and im sure were all excited to see him again when hes back!

You all will be in my prayers and Don is one the best parts of your videos so hope we see him soon. Talk about scares 2 days after Thanksgiving I went to ER and they found a small bowel obstruction thankfully no surgery this time but having hernia surgery in Feb.

So glad Don got in when he did! My brother is a heart attack survivor and my elderly neighbor whom I help take care of is as well. She walked out to the ambulance when she had her heart attack. There's something about their generation that is incredibly hearty. Best wishes for his recovery!

I now have a good idea of how a rock crusher works in the small portable version... I have been watching Itchy Boots in Africa videos... and was thinking a portable rock crusher and the support it needs would be and interesting thing to see making gravel on some of those crazy rocky roads... rabbit holes...

We always watch for Don and once spotted yell out “Don’s here!” usually before Kevin can say it. If there’s digging Don’s usually around - that man loves a shovel! Love Don so much. Thoughts and support from my family to Don ❤

My Dad Drove His Self To The Hospital 17 years Ago After Having A Heart Attack. Literally Went To Work 6 Hours Later. There Tough Ol Boyys From Back In The Day 🙌🏽 We Love You Daun The Channel Wouldn't Be The Same, No More Fatty Bacon over The Fire 😮

Driving yourself to the emergency room is not unusual considering in the US, even though we pay for emergency services with our taxes, we still have to pay for an ambulance ride.

My sister drove me we are only a driveway apart... we keep an eye on each other since we took care of our dad during Alzheimers...

My Dad did the same thing drove himself to the hospital with his first heart attack. God bless Don and look after him❤❤

Good to hear Don is doing better. I was in the same boat as Don. I drove myself to the ER and found that I needed surgery. They sent me to Tulsa St. Francis and they did quadruple bypass and 3 stents. That was in 1996. I finally retired at age 70 (2020) and am just goofing around and doing great!!! Blessings to Don and hope he continues to have good health!!!

This is amazing! I am just amazed! Don stayed calm and recognized that something was not right and went to the hospital. His calm demeanor shows through on the camera. Many times fear and reluctance to seek help is the downfall for many. Our bodies will let us know when something is not right. It is up to us to listen and get it addressed. I am not saying overreact or panic, but we must to be our own advocate. If one doctor does not listen, find another! Most importantly take care of yourself! Many health issues can be prevented if we took care of our bodies as well as we did our homes and cars. It is important to eat healthy, get regular exercise, and limit stress as much as possible. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. If your body is saying slow down, slow down. Even if there isn't a medical diagnoses listen to your body! Practice self care daily! I am speaking from experience. I am thankful to hear such a good report. Prayers and best to Don!
