Well well well. Nice to see Jack white getting a chance to show if his own stuff. I figured the white stripes represented his style well enough for ya and he kept up his part for ya. I actually like Megs "falling apart" type of style. I can see how it would bother a bassist so much. Not that there's no bass, but the tempo is exactly what a bassist would be cleaning up and it can't here.

And he took her surname (his name is John Gillis), which added to the confusion when they started and probably helped fool people into believing they were brother and sister.

Put some respect on Meg White's name lol. Simple, but effective for their type of music. And this is coming from a drummer. This song is great tho

That's what happens when you study music for over 40+ years....your ears pick up on things because that's what they have been trained to do. Every music teacher I ever had also told my parents that I "had an ear for music" as well, so maybe I was born with a gift....I dunno if that's true or not, but when 9 different teachers all say the same thing there might be something to it.

Jack and Meg were married from 96-00 but they never talked about their relationship so the media assumed they were siblings. Meg was actually very shy so after the white stripes ended she never appeared on camera again

Also Jack taught Meg to play drums for the white stripes. She never touched a set of sticks before that. He just wanted her to keep time while he played keys and guitar

I think jack white is from Detroit and his wrapping/singing style is very much like you would imagine from white rappers from Michigan like Eminem and kid rock

In the past, I was a very big fan of Jack White, I eventually got bored with him though. Or, I might have just overexposed myself to his works. He is a true artist, no equivocation there.

Does he realize the White Stripes drumming was intentional. It's was as simplistic as possible. That's the whole point 👉
