Jack told Bill 3X's he met his wife on Raya, then Bill acts surprised not even 5 minutes later, "oh, you met your wife on Raya, really?" It's like he's having a conversation with Jack but clearly not engaged. If it's not that, it's because he's stoned. Whatever.

Hi Jc, what you explain is true about Bill, I noticed this with previous interviews where by his body language, tone of voice and all that one can tell when he is asking questions he is not really interested in the answer but only goes through the motions. Maybe that is a bit harsh but it looks to me like Bill is happy as a pig in shit when he can talk about some convoluted story about his life or give his opinion on something. It's called being drunk and high - which is kind of one of the selling points of the show, before anyone suggests that he maybe stay straight for the interviews. This is about having fun, not about him wanting to take on another "serious" job because you guys don't think he's being professional enough. It's meant to be casual, and if you were high and drinking and hanging out with a friend, you'd probably have to be reminded of some things more than once, too. Plus, you know he often does multiple of these in a day, right? Jack might have been his second or third interview in an afternoon.

  • @idnintel

@@supertrexandroidx Yeah, what you say makes sense when you think about it like that... drinking or smoking the herb may affect people differently and with me I tend to be more focused socially on what the person is saying and therefore involved and more likely to remember points being made. However I am not 64 nor have I smoked as much as Bill though EtOH consumption is another story. I like Bill and don't really mind any of this behavior because I take it the same way as you do, it's just fun to make observations as well.

What i love is how i get to know ppl i wouldn't otherwise bother with. I remember the Osbourne boy from the old mtv show and assumed he'd be an obnoxious little rich boy. He's cooler than you'd expect from first impressions. Also, i love the TOOL shout out at the end! He had posters on his bedroom door before i even heard of the band. Now I'm a big fan. Hope Bill actually checks them out :-)

At a certain age if you aren’t interested in getting married men tend to make their careers their spouse and as time goes on the idea of “the work” it takes to be in a marriage hardly even computes. So glad I chose marriage and kids but i’m also glad for those who know it’s not for them, that’s smart.
