It's rare to see the script get flipped on Bill, but Boy George's intellect and charm definitely had Bill rocked back on his heels a bit. And the way he hit Bill with the questions... what a fascinating person George is he needs his own pod cast.

So much respect for Boy George, his music, his attitude, not afraid to make fun of himself, aging well, a true cultural groundbreaker. I’m glad he got the hell away from heroin, I hope everybody does.

On 5 December 2008, Boy George was convicted in Snaresbrook Crown Court, London, of the April 2007 assault and false imprisonment of Audun Carlsen, a Norwegian model and male escort, who initially stood for a photography session with Boy George. Carlsen claimed that he had been handcuffed to a wall fixture and beaten with a metal chain during their next meeting,. @@Saliva1 Yes, most people are aware of that story. He was in a drug fueled cocaine rage. Shameful behaviour. However since that episode he immediately tackled his substance abuse and alcohol abuse. “I got sober in 2008. March the 2nd, 2008. I know the date exactly. I always think of that day as 'the day that I became sane,'” Boy George. Not defending the guy's behaviour, however, unlike you I believe that everyone should be offered a path to redemption.

I'm impressed with how Boy George has rebounded. His retake on his life has certainly reaped rewards ... He's extremely health conscious, is a strict vegetarian, works out 5+ times per week. He sticks to a strict controlled diet, having no intake of fast foods or drinks, drugs. He makes his own food since he insists on having steam vegetables everyday and doesn't trust eating out, since all restaurant foods have sugars and bad fats. He's a true testament of 'You are what you eat'. I do applaud him ... 👏🏽

"Red Red Wine" is a song originally written and recorded by Neil Diamond in 1967. However, the most famous and successful version of the song was a cover version recorded by British reggae band UB40 in 1983. Here are some key facts about who wrote "Red Red Wine": The original lyrics and music were solely written by Neil Diamond, and he recorded the original version in 1967. Diamond's version was released as a single but did not achieve significant success in the charts at the time.

I think George never recovered from the third Culture Club album in 1984. It was recorded in just six weeks. The Culture Club guitarist even said the band didn’t really want to record music at that time. The band all agreed the Waking Up With The House On Fire album was a hurried and half-hearted effort. George’s look was such a big part of Culture Club’s success and as much as their previous year’s album Colour By Numbers was such a great pop album, it gave the press and people that did not particularly care for Boy George confirmation bias that his popularity had been a fluke. His heroin addiction and subsequent arrests in Britain for it also hurt his career because he couldn’t get a work visa in America for years when he was trying to promote during his solo career. His appearances on American television had to be via satellite.

It was also the last time pop stars had hits with shelf life. Even people born in the year 2000 are starting to complain about modern "music", yeah sure complaints have always been there but not in big numbers coming from the youth. Here's an example for you to checkout on this subject matter. Podcast Full Stack Creative video (The music industry is going to zero) Rick Beato (Warning the Future of Music). I had a gay brother who passed away last year. He was my "Big Bro", and I loved him very much, and miss him terribly. Watching this episode with BG has been like visiting my brother. George's humor, his laugh, his mannerisms are spot on with my Bro's. And his hands - the hands of a painter, an artist, look just like my brother's. I know George will never see this, but I want to thank him anyway, for making this appearance. I know this sounds ridiculous, but watching this episode at a later date, will be like getting to spend time with my brother again.

@@runner1984 Humans are imperfect, and when drugs and alcohol are involved people can do regretful things. Boy George stood trial and was sentenced to 15 months' imprisonment. After 4 months' incarceration, he was fitted with an ankle monitor and required to submit to a strict curfew to serve out the remainder of his sentence. I'm sure Audun Carlsen is haunted by terrible memories of his experience, but I hope he can work to heal and put this chapter of his life behind him. He's still a relatively young man in his early forties. I hope that he can move on and live a happy and fulfilling life. This dark time in his life should not define him. All people deserve a chance to live a peaceful and rewarding life, and I wish him well.

Songs can take you back to a moment that is remembered as good or bad. "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?" was playing while the girl I loved said "I'm not going out with you" during her Nude Art class at Cerritos Junior College. She was the Love of My Life for nineteen years of ups and downs, "ins and outs" and wonderful years of caring for her.
