I just found out that the "Burger King is owned by an English company" thing wasn't a joke, they really WERE owned by a English company named Diageo, an alcoholic beverage company. They sold it in 2000.

BK fixed their microwave problem, and McDonalds still stores their food, just (presumably) not in bins

Best part is that Burger King did hear Jack out, they moved to grill!

I am imagining them bringing this back all these years later and the numbers show that it has been thousands of days.

I remember as kid in the 1970s hearing the rumor that Jack in the Box burgers were kangaroo meat. I haven't heard Jack dispel those rumors yet.

Oh I called the number and it asked me to do a survey to get a free dining experience at Jack in the box.

But Nobody Came..

I'd want them to bring this back but Burger King was sold to another company so the joke wouldn't be as good

@@slosh7072 it’s not the same number anymore it’s a medical number maybe it’s a spam number so that means it’s usually numerous other numbers for “companies” and it looks like an old commercial so yeah

Mcdonalds now make burgers fresh to order so I guess they listened.

Notice how he doesn’t mention Wendy’s, that’s because there is no redeeming them

While Jack was waiting for the CEOs of Burger King or McDonald's to call him, they were waiting for Jack to simply go back in the box. This was clearly an impasse. (P.S. This is day 9,325 as of this post, which is February 28, 2024.)
