    Hey Joery, I've been a fan for many years and I really love your engineering and your craftsmanship. I'm sad to hear that you're no longer able to monetize your hobby and work full time on it. This is truly a failure on KZread's terms, conditions, and claim automation. Your content is far more family friendly then most channels. Sure, it's about weapons but it's also about how they're made and understanding the physics behind them. Much respect to deciding to move on to another professional career and continue doing what you love without compromise. I'm sure most of us wouldn't mind if you kept a pre-roll add before watching your video without sponsored content. It can help you buy supplies on top of your patron. Honestly - KZread will probably run ads on them anyways for some users. I wouldn't put it past them so you might as well benefit from them ripping you off. Maybe one day soon KZread will realize how badly they're hurting creators like yourself who follow the rules and get penalized. Good luck man, and looking forward to your next video.

    I actually found all his testing on the sponsored stuff quite useful. And look at the "Time travelling viking" series and the collaboration it sprouted with Teg'n'Thrand! That was made possible by the guys from that viking game. You can't tell me that that was bad! The only bad part was the stress caused by the morons who can't tell clay from their shit and who decided to meddle and make KZread safe where it didn't need it, all the while ignoring the huge holes through which the real nasty stuff seeped in. IMHO.

    Ofc its not full auto, its just crossbow with magazine. Nice work, but Joerg enhancement dont have sense in historical and war terms, cuz Chinese army in those times needs tons of crossbows, that mean cheaper and faster production,reliability. Accuracy not a problem at all, cuz they compensate this by massive volley fire. Main problem is stringing, for this crossbow or any other, and you cant enhance this same way in terms of speed. Besides that, for single targets yo can use regular crossbows, and they have them in crazy amounts already.

    @@EmersionX You actually hit around this point in firearms terms around 1870. The Turks developed a system of using large numbers of single-shot, breechloading small arms with the ability to hit at long range with a smaller number of shorter-range repeating weapons like the Winchester. When the Russians got close at Plevna, they got hit all the way in but in the last 100 yards the Winchesters dumping their 13-round magazines at close range proved devastating. However, by even 1880 guns were starting to come out that were magazine breechloaders that could more or less do both jobs. If you could improve this design to have a box magazine under the weapon, or with sights to the side like the setup on the Nanbu LMGs, you have something that can do the job both of normal crossbows and repeating crossbows. Whether or not this could have historically been produced? Who knows.

    @@Genktarov i talk historically as crossbow weapon was in demand. Firearms is another story and in 1870 Russian troops were a miserable sight, they suffered huge losses in general due to many problems accumulated in the Russian empire, this continued into shameful Russian-Japan war and the First World War, then everything became so bad in the country that the 1917 revolution began.

  • @Genktarov

    @Genktarov

    I’m generally pro-Russian but at Plevna the Turks had the superior weapons. Did you even read the comment? There’s plenty of cases in which further development of weapons systems was possible but wasn’t done, e.g. the American military never adopting lever guns and paying for it dearly at the battle of the greasy grass. The Chinese didn’t improve on the design, although I don’t know if they had windlass crossbows or not.

    We go out of our ways to endure stupid ads so that the people we like get paid. KZreadrs go out of their way to produce content to the lenght that youtube and the ad agencies deem best for profits. KZread goes out of their way to curate ads to content, make partnerships and promote events that benefit the ad agencies the most. The assholes at the ad agencies don't go out of their way for shit they say "I don't want my ad playing in this guy's content" and everyone else is fucked. Now I say fuck ad agencies and go out of my way to not purchase anything that's advertised in an invasive way and harass the companies that advertise through these agencies about not buying their product anymore. At some point the people with the money have to catch up with reality and realize mass impact advertisement hasn't been successful since 2007 at least and they're just wasting their money and everyone's time/freedom by continuing to employ these people.

All that started when KZread decided to cut down their own creators, it happened in the past too when they implanted that awful 10 minutes long and constant uploads rule to be monetized. It killed almost all of the flash cartoon creators, for example, who had to start doing let's plays or whatever to keep reaching KZread's terrible parameters for monetization. Ex: 1st this happened, (at some later point) then that (whatever event) happened afterward. Than is a comparative word which points out the difference between 2 or more things. Ex: An elephant is bigger than an apple. You should have learned this much by the 2nd or 3rd grade.

    Sorry to do this but your comment is very visible. I want to make a suggestion to Joerg. Hi, Joerg, you can still make some good money from this channel without wasting time and energy to build new and new stuff. You could do small challenges/tests with the already existing weapons and other contraptions that you have. We are talking small scale nothing big or labor intensive. You could tell people to send you their contraptions and you test them and play with them too. It's practically free and you could make somebody really happy that you used him or her item. I don't know it is just an idea and your channel could still go on with relatively regular uploads. I am sorry that I reply to the CNC and it is nothing to do with your comment, just you have very likes and you are on top. I don't do this if I don't think it is important.

    "We can only hope that someone comes in with a better, fairer, way for content providers to entertain us without the useless AI censorship." Hate to be a pessimist but this is not going to happen. KZread(Google) and the other tech oligarchs are too big now. If someone creates a new platform and it gains traction and has a large user base that is a financial competitor for YT- Google will simply offer them an unbelievable amount of money and buy it. Think about it. Some guy or a group of people of modest financial means(middle class regular folk) creates a website from their home office, buys server space ect ect ect... and then gets offered a billion dollar check from Google... there it goes. Anyone would do it. They may start off with good intentions but they will be bought out and swallowed by the oligarchs. They are simply too damn big at this point. Just like phone companies have all be condensed to merely a few companies now when there used to be dozens of them that competed... actually competed.

    I agree. Sometimes YT channel creators are little different from shameless hucksters, but Joerg's sponsored vids always offered good content without smacking you over the head with the sponsor's wares. At least that's the way it seemed to me. I'm not happy with what KZread does to content creators just because they've got a bug up their asses about knives, guns, bows, weaponry, or what have you. I also think the whiners who want free content from fun, creative guys like Joerg don't understand how much effort goes into making these episodes. It's serious work and he deserved to be compensated for it.
