EVEN THE SUN HAS A DARK SIDE...honestly, Hobi is a forward thinker--his creativity is unmatched!

He switched up his flow so many times!! J-hope is a musical genius!!

I love how he switched his flow along with his vocals, like he has so many elements to him that its hard not to be intrigued by it.

I’m a 70 year old grandmother and I absolutely loved loved loved this video and the song! This is a totally different side of Hobi that we are seeing! As army we need to support our boys with all their solo tracks so when they come back we get even more awesome music! Thank you for your reaction I just loved it❤

Hope has been my bias FOR YEARS! We usually see him “colorful” because that what he usually present himself. I expected something different than that and I GOT IT AND LOVE IT. ‘More’ definitely gave me old rap and rock and i think it suits him a lot. 100 out of 10 🧎🏾‍♀️😮(ALSO DONT GET ME WRONG, I love his colorful music, style, persona, etc. I’m just glad we got to see something different from him, such as him expressing his emotions in a dark concept way!!!)

I've heard more than a few idols say that they have to put on this persona as idols, so the colorful happy one is for sure his "role" in BTS. I also think that being colorful is a huge part of his personality but that this is a different side of him.

I saw someone say that they saw someone say "what if Jack is Hobi's Agust D" and that got me thinking: the album is called jack in the box. so maybe Jack could be Hobi's negative emotions that he shoves away because of his image or how he already made himself look (i.e. hopeful, happy, smiley) so Jack is maybe his personified negative emotions this could be stretch cuz the song had nothing to do with negative emotions but I'm going off of how he dressed this time and the vibe

As an older ARMY that grew up in the 90's, I love this mix of hip-hop and rock elements. Hobi totally exceeded my expectations. Listening to this on iTunes with quality earphones -- makes the song incredible! You can hear the amazing drums, guitar, piano/jazz bit and the production.

Yes indeed… there’s even almost a punk-ish influence there … Savage JHope… terribly exciting and wild and rebellious JHope the likes of which we didn’t expect yet prolly suspected lurked in there somewhere, after all Hobi is a product of the “street” at the start of it all

This is his jack in the the box. This is the parts of him he hides and surpresses. He always talks about how he is always happy. Upbeat. He has to be jhope always. This is probably all the things he feels but can't show or talk about. I am in love. This is perfection. I honestly thought Ego would be more like this so I've been waiting. Let it out Hobi! You don't have to always be happy!

This song is so Jhope. I love it so much and I saw it coming to in the Jack and the Box concept. Boy meets evil, Run BTS, he's friends with Yoongi. Come on if you've been paying attention this isn't surprising at all, but it is FABULOUS. Finally we get to see the dark JHope lurking behind that smile.

Hobi is a true versatility KING. You can say he's a "jack of all trades" I suppose.

We are looking inside of the box of Jack, and they are x raying him to see further in to what he really wants. The chorus is hard to hear bcause he is screaming from within the box. hence u seeing him quiet and closing the box at the end cuz hes looking in.

Total “Joker” vibe. Loved this track. Darkness but strength & confidence. Killer flow switches, schemes & that growl in his voice kills it. Y’all got a new sub - love your enthusiasm

I feel like Hoseok is representing a lot of people (Army included) with the different personas. We all have that side of us or sides that we want to hide and keep in the box yet we want to scream “Shout” it out. It’s as though he’s giving us the strength, to speak out and be stronger. Maybe it’s just me but I feel like he is showing us a vulnerable side of him, aside what we usually see and I appreciate and am really thankful for that.

For me, this is one of the best of J-hope. He really show some good stuff with the fusion between old-school type hiphop beat and rock. Also this song has good lyrics. For the MV, I can feel some Kendrick Lamar type influences from HUMBLE MV. Overall this is masterpiece. 👍

Just like BTS mvs I feel like there’s definitely a story going on. The X-ray scene reminds me of the hospital bed in EGO. And the scene where they zoom to the Jack version of Jhope, then the box, then he walks through the door (which the rooms end up being in the box), that makes me think this is looking back at the past during darker times. It’s interesting!

In my humble honest opinion, he absolutely killed this 😩 and the thing is! This is completely different than what he usually gives out but IT FIT HIM SO WELL !!!

He is insanely talented, and so much more to see….

I love that he went darker and old-school rap and grunge. It must be so much fun for them to be creative now and just do whatever they want. I can't wait for the full album and then also see what all the others will do. Something I really like about BTS and the members is the diversity in personality and style and how they have been able to show a lot of that even though they are a group working together BUT now when they can go full out their of way creatively... damn I can't wait!!! And then when they do their next project as a group it must be so much more fun after having had this creative outlet.

This is Jhope making music HE wants to make. Those rooms in the box in my opinion, from the office (Hybe) to the hospital (them suppressing his full creativity) you see his x-ray singing what he feels inside. But he's quiet on the bed. And him in white jumper rocking out how he really feels about wanting to do "More" with his music. If you see the background guys when he's wearing the white jumper, they are zombies. Like he's dead inside or was (musically) but now he is able to break out and do his thing But he still wants to do more then what he did in the past. Let it out Jhope! This is beautiful in all ways and I'm here for it!

The first time I listened to this I honestly didn’t know how to feel or react. It’s like something was about to burst in me. I was waiting to see this side of Hobie, the vibes he gave me during Dionysus made me so excited to see what else he could do and I’m not disappointed at all.

There's a making of video for this video. You should check it out. He was very involved in all the shots. He knew just what concept he wanted to show. I love the new Hope. We always see him as happy Hope but this is all the dark feelings and thoughts he keeps inside. He's going to let it all out and I want to see it.

So Jhope is multifaceted ! He is all you see rolled into one man. He feels suppressed to be who he is, not by himself, but by the constraints placed on him. Love this, love this!!! As a fan who grew up with hard rock/heavy metal, I love this song. I am a music fanatic of most genres of music including R&B, classical, rap, jazz, hip hop, big band music from the 40's, blues, gospel, soft rock, classic rock, pop, reggae, and Kpop. My music collection represents all these genres. However, my favorite will always be hard rock/heavy metal. I like knowing that JHope is open to various genres as well. I do think we will hear some Kpop and hip hop sounds from him so please give him a chance with this album and support him.
