Hi Ken, thanks for sharing. I had the same piece of 6694 but white dial. It was from my dad and I believe it was not been serviced for dacades even though the watch is running still well. My questions are did you let Rolex service centre to replace any of the part inside the calibre. As a vintage watch, I was told that it is always good to keep the part as original as it is

Hi Nelson, Tq for sharing. The Rolex ctre lubricate and cleaned the mechanism. I opt to replace the silver dial with Blk . I also ve the mineral crystal glass replaced and ve a new crown becos it’s not waterproof anymore.

It was back in the late 1987 when I sent the watch for major refurbishment, and the total was estimated around USD400. I m sorry that I couldn’t remember how much was the itemise cost on the receipt as it was so long ago.
