I remember.. In the 90's i had a 330 turbo Star.. Just a 6 cylinder.. But the Power and this Sound from the Italiano was unbelievble

That iveco v8 had the best sound ever, long live the turbostar special , to bad iveco finished the V8 , now only strait 6

My only complaint about IVECO Cursor engines is they get hot too soon, maybe need a bigger radiator but I mean... what the hell? Did they even test them??

Negli otto anni che ho fatto l'autista in una concessionaria Iveco, quando dovevo portare un 190.48 da un allestitore, era come guidare una formula 1 !!! Da Monza a Verona (160km) ci mettevo un'ora e mezzo!! Faceva i 145km orari!!! Era una macchina non un camion!!! Era uno spettacolo!!! In accelerazione quando ripartivo dal casello autostradale dopo aver preso il biglietto, bruciavo le gomme e le auto a fianco!! Godevo come un riccio!! Bei tempi!!🙄😢🙏

@@daniel28555 . Fastest Truck in a Lot of places in their time . Australia . Usually had 18-spd Fullers here . 250 rpm between gears at 2200 rpm . IVECO can go to 2400 rpm . The went like F--K !

Man I love the sound and the smoke In Australia they call these trucks an International Iveco 5470 Turbo Star I have one that has been sitting idle for 6 yrs but still remember how they go Awesome bit of Italian engineering never should have stopped making them

Yep, the original mirrors gave much less visibility than the stralis’, and also the turbostar has the euroTech/Eurostar’s steering wheel

Bobi27015 Well, there is many versions to explain that R530; it could be 144 530 with R-series grill or they have add more power to engine. But this is nice video, no complain :)

It's 144 530. Now I watch this with more knowledge and I saw Scania's interior and I have to make everyone to cry... It's not 164 or R-series... Stop video to 1:02 - 1:03 and you see interior/dashboard. R-series don't have dashboard like that. Or are you blind about what you see? Has grill from R-series in 4-series and everyone thinks it's R-series... Grow up people and open your eyes!
