size means nothing. strenght isn't just mucle mass, its in your genes. i mean just look at brzenk, that guy is an armwrestling legend, no one could beat him in his prime, time beated him. and he had just regular arms, nothing special.but he was strong af, just like larrat is

@@UnitedAssassinRevolution brzenk arms were huge with his bone structure sure his compared to other arm wrestlers looks snall but pal he is huge as hell his hands alone is the size of a basketball player but with a thicker bones

maybe Cyplenkov, a prime Brzenk or a prime Larrat... Voevoda was VERY strong but it's impossible to say how strong he was... he defeated bagent right arm, Pushkar, and a VERY small and injured Brzenk ;;; he still had a lot to prove. But in 2004 he was the best, we have no doubts about that.

Devon exhausted himself and he couldn't hold Ivakin no more...Overall, great match.

I think I've read somewhere that John said Taras Ivakin has the best toproll in all of armwrestling. This video is strong proof of that. Just look at Devon, he knows its coming but its just too damn powerful. Also, I'm a huge Voevoda fan, but I have to say even in his best shape he can't beat Denis lefthanded. Voevodas right arm on the other hand in his best shape is unmatched I believe. Looking forward to his comeback.

Larratt is slow at the start, and if he went outside he would have gotten pinned fast. He is more powerful than Taras, and has stronger wrist flexion, but Taras is the top roll master. No way you can go over him at the start. He was always weak at finishing though.

Because going on the outside is exactly what Taras wants, he was the undisputed king of top roll. Only Brzenk (and Veovoda for a short while before he retired) could consistently stop his top roll back in the day.

Ivakin's arms are massive. Especially the right one. It looks like that of Zhokh's left.

He is awesome. Both. #respect It was just like with John the very 1st match. That coming back was beautifully done by Devon but it took alot from him for the rest of the matches. Ps: Devon's Hulk mode is with his left arm.

This is the biggest and best Taras Ivakin i can remember, with his famous top-roll and huge, fast hit, no wonder he gave a young Larratt problems... After the first two rounds he flashed Larratt...

Taras is trying to make a come back now. In the strap Devon would beat him but this was before Larrats surgery. After the surgery and rehab he became way stronger. Hitting big is not really his thing even today coz hes a back pressure and hold style player....n not a side pressure guy coz as he confessed side pressure training would cause him pain after surgery. He has mastered the game within his limitations. A true mastermind and a strategist who is not the strongest per se.

Come on now. 08-10 is widely seen as Devon's peak at least until lately. He just got steamrolled by Taras' raw strength and hand. Devon's hand has gotten quite a bit stronger I would say but this is probably his peak endurance and he still got wore out by the positions Taras was putting him in.

@szaszpetrut John beat Taras in 2004 at Nemiroff, beat him in 2006 and 2007 in supermatches, beat him in 2008 at Nemiroff, those are the times that they pulled that I know of

depending on when this match took place, weather it was before or after larat beat john (i think its after), i believe taras just up-ed his game and his status as a professional armwrestler with this match. I think his technique is awesome, i just think he needs to be a LITTLE bit stronger for the size of those arms.
