Hi Jim, glad you caught the technology in this MV, just as I did. Because I am also an electronics & computer enthusiast for decades, I also noticed the CRT's, digi-cams, vinyls & VHS tapes, which made me wonder what was going on with the timeline. Right, I gauge the tech from around Y2k as well. No current tech. But I still don't know why. You were the only one out of many reactors that noticed the "vintage" equipment. I have tons of vintage electronics & ancient computers, such as my C-64's, 8088's & 1980's-90's VCR's/camcorders, heh. Anyway, another major theory that was getting spread was that the MV was a metaphor for couples that stay together for life, then die of old age, of which the box represents their eventual & guaranteed death, thus the Spring Day / Boltanski reference, where you leave all your material possessions behind such as your clothes. My Dad (RIP) left tons of VHS tapes behind. Either the old age theory & the intended theory of disability discrimination fits well. I too have said this would bode well as some sci-fi movie or TV drama, which would be nice if IU & Tae also acted in it, since they are both professional actors as well. I say that because for years I have always wanted to see the 7 guys make a movie or TV on the Bangtan Universe, but the upcoming official Bangtan Universe show "Youth", if it hasn't been delayed again, will use other actors & not BTS.

I'm now listening to love wins all again and as soon as it started I had tears in my eyes it's so emotional qnd that wqt I love also like I said before these two need to act in a kdrama with a similar concept to the mv. Thanks, Jim, for putting this on KZread. This mv causes me to tear up, starting from the opening piano. I'm thankful I only tear up now. The first forty eight times I sobbed and had pickled eyeballs. It'd be great if you would put BTS Sunday news on KZread again. I really enjoyed it. I've never thought of a mini fridge being a murderer before. Thanks for your insights.

In the restaurant scene I believe everyone is dressed in black and their faces are covered because when you are in love, it’s just the two of you that you notice as well as the dark dressed people, being the nameless, faceless masses, hold contempt for them for being in love and being different

It's funny how you mentioned the clothing. It was apparently Sub-Zero temperatures while they were filming. Not a reference to Spring Day. This is IU's song from a different label not a BTS song. It is a common representation of lost souls to use piles of clothes. I get that all of us ARMY think of Spring Day when we see them but everything is not linked to BTS and we need to pull our heads out of the BTS rabbit hole once in awhile. Everything is not always about BTS as much as we might want it to be.
