    @@mrindependent1 Yes I also think we should limit how many single family homes they person. I think you should be able to own one resident and 2 vacation homes and that's it. Also just because you're a billionaire does not mean that you can buy up massive amounts of land to build a giant house on it. Happens in the hills of Hollywood and it literally is displacing so much so much wildlife for greed.

    Home prices are up nationally, but select markets are slashing prices. It's all about the inventory, some markets have it, some don't. These videos are full of information, thanks for posting them.

    At least the madness is waning just a bit in some places. I'm talking about the kind of competition that causes buyers with realistic expectations and requirements to settle for something they don't like or can't afford.

    With D.C. rowhouses on Capitol Hill, for large lots and large homes a few blocks of the Capitol, it's basically $1 million for livable but needs renovation, and roughly $1.8 million for newly renovated. That's my sense from casually following the market. I also see flips varying significantly in build quality, with quality seemingly not reflected in the price (in my opinion).
