Dr Gupta, you are such an amazing physician-practical and down-to-earth, and a dedicated humanitarian and yet you approach human health as a true scientist. You obviously regard patient education as key to improving our health-something where busy physicians often fall short today. Thank you for your unselfish, unfailing efforts on behalf of people everywhere!

He got something wrong. Saturated fat is the most anti inflammatory food you can get. Its natural. Seed oils are not. Today people are eating 20 to 1 in omega 6 vs omega 3.

Summary: Inflammation is the body's attempt at self protections.(to remove something that is harmful or irritating the body) 2 types of inflammation. Acute and Chronic. (a·top·ic /ˌāˈtäpik/ adjective denoting a form of allergy in which a hypersensitivity reaction such as dermatitis or asthma may occur in a part of the body not in contact with the allergen.) Cortisol is the stress hormone created by chronic stress and it makes the heart work harder. Also releases adrenaline which also makes the heart work harder. Most chronic inflammation are due to lifestyle issues. (Diet such as too much sugar, saturated fatty acids, caffeine and excess alcohol, insufficient intake of micronutrients and anti oxidants, low fibre diet) We are seeing allergic reactions now that we haven't seen previously. What you eat can cause inflammation. (Drinks included) Stress is a huge inflammatory agent. Lack of sleep can cause inflammation. Sedentary lifestyles are inflammatory. Cortisol and adrenaline go up. Cortisol causes you to lose magnesium. which causes electrolyte imbalance. Arteries harden. What will cool you down? Good healthy fresh food (more plant based). Drink water (only), minimize or get rid of sugar, saturated fats, msg, less caffeine and alcohol. increase omega 3 intake (can easily accomplish with no fish as fish need to eat, algae for example to accumulate) Regular cardiac exercise is one of the best things for overcoming stress. Get more sleep. Get family time or social time. Getting away from it all. Get sunshine. You're welcome ;)

You're giving some good, general advice mixed with some VERY bad dietary advice that is rooted in propaganda. Plant-based diets are inflammatory (on a sliding scale for each individual) and saturated fats are your friend. An animal-based diet is anti-inflammatory; without the anti-nutrients and oxalates.

Please keep talking about chronic inflammation. It’s very important to inform the public about this especially when it comes to their gum health. People just don’t realize how important their dental health is in regards to cardiac health. It’s all inflammation! It’s NOT normal for your gums to bleed every time you brush or floss!!! It’s all connected.

I have Ankylosing Spondylosis so My CRP is mildly elevated. Although it’s been over 2 years since I had breast cancer I still feel awful most days. I work a job where I stand all day. I have been single 17 years without financial help, and it’s not easy for women like myself. I imagine IF I die of a heart attack, I won’t be in pain anymore. Here in America the government took meds that made life more bearable for suffering patients, just when I needed it. American people are addicted to EVERYTHING imaginable! I HAVE to find a way to make it. I can’t go on like this! Your videos are A LIFE SAVER for some of us! I like your suggestion; especially the VACATION recommendation! 🎠

An organic (if possible) mediterranian diet (with plenty of extra virgin olive oil) is the way to go with inflammation, plus turmeric's cucurmin 1000 to 3000mg daily, as this is the the most powerful anti- inflammatory on the planet, surpassing even ibuprofen! Been functioning really well on this for many years. Thanks for all the selfless help that you have brought to people in an effort to bring wellness to them.

It is very hard to find good food in Stockholm but it is increasing. After being very careful about my food and stress. Tried to lose weight and taken more magnesium and vitamin B1 I feel so much better and don´t feel my heart beat at all. But I suppose the problem still are there and will be examinated first in June because the hospital have great ques. I really have got more hope after listening to your videos.

Thank you Dr Gupta your video's are very informative and have helped me a lot. I had an ablation done in June for pvcs and am now suffering from Pericarditis. It will be so helpful if you could do a video on Pericarditis and Dressler's Syndrome please. Thanks once again.
