So reassuring to know that no damage will be to the heart. I’ve been dealing with palpitations for years and cardiologist never explain in detail until I came across your channel. Thank you for all you do it helps to know someone understands what I am going through. Now if I can get a cure for these it would help.

Thank you so much! I thought I was the only one and I literally have those exact same feelings and it freaked me right out so bad that it made it worse so thank you so much for letting me know that I'm not crazy and that's other people feel the same way and that it's not like I'm going to have a heart attack or a stroke the minute my blood pressure spikes❤

He never addresses specifically if a person with asymptomatic persistent AFIB on an anticoagulant has a decreased life span . Does persistent AFIB lead to left atrial hypertrophy with subsequent distortion of the mitral valve resulting in congestive heart failure?

Hi I am a 61 year old female My blood pressure is high first thing in the morning But if I take 3 consecutive reading the reading reduce e.g first reading 180/105, then 162/98 and 148/87 as an example My doctor prescribed Losartan 12.5 mg and i took it every day for 3 months but no difference My BP is always high when I wake up But normal during the day and really good after excercisong like 110/76 But towards the end of the day it goes up again to high levels My questions why the BP meter shows such variation for 3 consecutive reading Why the reading is high starting late evening The only advice i get from my doctor is to increase Losartan dosage I understand exercise is over all beneficial and happy to keep it up But I am worried i am sleeping and waking up with high BP I am not getting any clues or explanation for my BP levels other than just saying i have hypertension Any advice is really appreciated I am sure there are many others who could also benefit from a better understanding Thank you so much Nimmy

Nice to see another of those rare doctors willing to talk sense publicly. Thank you. I'm 69. My story was similar to the one referred to in the video. GP put me on meds, but I soon stopped taking them. I brought my BP down simply by doing the Nitric Oxide Dump exercises, after seeing a KZread video by a UK doctor (Channel: Dr Joe TV). I'm unmedicated and BP is now usually around 135/85.

I can't stop afib, but I can sort of stop the subsequent blackout as it creeps up my head. I think that is from when you leave afib but before your heart resumes a regular ryhthm there is a pause before regular beats start up. I focus, take very deep breaths very quickly, lie down, drink cold water. It's quite awful, but I have managed to stop it. So far.

I'm just coming across this video & wanted to add a theory as to why this works. I've recently been told by cardio that my ectopics are adrenaline driven, which I totally agree with. So my theory is that the deep breathing interrupts that adrenaline dump that happens when we get anxious while feeling these events. Like turning off the electricity, the light goes out. I will try that next time they act up. Secondly I have found the magnesium supplement to be very helpful as well. I use Slow Mag as it is better absorbed. And thank you Dr. Gupta, I'd like to clone you !

I took a mineral supplement two years ago and my heart went nuts! Went to the ER and they said I was having rows of PACs and PVCs at the same time. My heart was structurally fine and my proBNP test came back at like 13 which is better than perfect since I was 57 at the time. The episode lasted 11 hours. Then I went to see another doc last year about low testosterone and he wanted me to inject 200mg per week. However, me wanting to air on the side of caution, I injected 90mg and 3 hours later my heart went nuts. The exact same thing as last time except it was flopping around like a washing machine for 6 full days! It was scary as hell for sure, but since I was fine last time I figured I would be fine this time and I was. Okay, so what on earth caused this? Was it the minerals I took from the previous episode or was it the testosterone from the latest episode? Well, possibly neither! Why? I had low ferritin of 13 and when I injected testosterone it ramped up production of red blood cells which causes your body to pull more iron from already depleted iron stores. I started dosing with liposomal iron, started back on 30mg of testosterone every 4th day and no palps. Whereas before the iron I would get a few per day even on the lower dose. No, I haven't had the guts to go all in with 90mg all at once, but so far so good. So, was it the iron deficiency causing the palps? Maybe, because so far so good. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Sorry to say that these drugs are not game changers when they're a completely unaffordable. Adding also to the cost. Are the other medications for things like eliquis and the combination of all these medications, even if you could get one at a discount does not make them a game changer. It makes them false hope.

Ive been taking it, GABA and NAC for about 3 years, and been working towards a more antioxidant rich diet, and in general, i feel so much better and healthier I have an autoimmune disorder that presents as nerve pain issues, RA, prolonged illness, rashes, all sorts of odd presentations, but i think the fpcus on antioxidants has really helped. I haven't been very very ill in those 3 years, got the flu once, but it only lasted about 10 days when it's usually a month long ordeal, and i do credit that to the increase in antioxidants since that's the only thing that changed. Added bonus, i look younger now than i did 3 years ago. I didn't know that would be a side-effect of thr change, but it is certainly not a bad one.

This has also been very helpful to me. I was recently diagnosed with A-fib and since I have a family history of stroke and heart disease, this seemed like a death sentence. I don’t have high blood pressure or diabetes, but I do have high cholesterol. However, I refuse to take Eliquis because I’ve had bleeding issues. It is a relief to hear that A-fib alone doesn’t lead to strokes. Thank you, Dr Gupta.

Thank you! You are a breath of fresh air!!! I have pots, MCAS, FND and long covid… explains why frequent soaks in a hefty Epsom salts bath is helpful (25kg sacks online are cheaper than small packets and last a while despite using generous amounts! When experiencing increased symptoms then more mugs of salt are put in the water). I know it’s not a saline infusion but might help someone. You are a blessing 🙏

Hello Sanjay! I just found you several days ago. Thank you for your “heart” felt information. Great videos - easy to listen to and your kindness and professionalism shines through. BTW, I’m taking magnesium glycinate from Pure encapsulations. Between 240 and 360 mg daily. Dealing with fluttering/palpitations after pacemaker implant for Bradycardia in February of this year. Rates were always around 50 BPM - sometimes in the 40s. Thanks again my friend. Rick - Southern California.

Thank you for all your videos, where you explain things really clearly and with so much empathy for people who are going through challenging situations. You recommended raising the head of the bed. I wanted to check you really meant 10 degrees not 10cm, which your hand gesture seemed to indicate? I've just created something to put under the bed to raise it by 10 degrees. I lay on it to try it out and it feels very strange. It does feel like I might slide down. I'll give anything a go at this point, though! And you said it could take 3 months to notice an impact, right? I'm trying so many things that it's hard to know what makes a difference, when things take so much time to have a change I can feel.
