fun fact in fallout 3 theres a unique prewar toaster in vault 101 that you can grab before leaving. its in the kitchen area. its so obscure almost nobody gets it. why do i have specific knowledge about useless kitchen appliances from a game from 12 years ago? idfk lol

That's sort of a thing I do on playthroughs as well. Even before I get to the DLC, I'm grabbing every mug I see, every toaster... and even holding onto all the plant material I find, so I can change it into profitable slime. Protip, though: It's quickly not worth it to keep collecting clipboards and the other stuff for the book chute-the limiting factor will always be wrenches.

@@Stefanius058 ill grant you some knowledge then my child (lmao) 🤘👁️👄👁️👌 find an item that uses special ammo (hollow point, nails, shotgun ammo, anything with an effect in the description on the ammo. bulk ammo workd well) hover over the corresponding gun for that ammo type. press and hold the hotkey button and dont let go. while holding the hotkey button, scroll over to the ammo tab. and hotkey a special ammo type. congrats, you can now equip that ammo into ANY GUN YOU WANT. just eqyip any gun, exit the menu, and press the directional arrow button to equip it. if you equipped nails? you can fire NAILS out of a fat man, this gets rid of the explosion and turns the fat man into a RIFLE THATS SAFE IN CLISE QUARTERS. if you equipped 4/0 buckshot? and ye equip it into a grenade rifle? well due to the script effect on that ammo, now yer grenade rifle shoots FOUR GRENADES AT ONCE. if you hotkeyed hollowpoint 9mm ammo? well, now you can equip a grenade, then press the directional button, and youll be throwing 1.75 times damage grenades, but, instead of wasting a grenade, each shot will only consume ONE BULLET INSTEAD. now, guns that consume more than one ammo per shot are cool..... it MULTIPLIES. if you equip a gauss rifle with 4/0 buckshot, because it uses 5 ammo per shot, things get cool. the gun will fire 4 (for the ammo script effect) times 5 (for the ammo) so the gun will actually shoot TWENTY SIMULTANEOUS BEAMS. and if you sneak attack someone, EVERY BEAM WILL CRIT. the critical damage is applied IN FULL, SEPARATELY ON EVERY BEAM. and if you dont sneak, EVERY BEAM HAS ITS OWN INDEPENDENT CHANCE TO CRIT. (that one makes SUCH a cool noise when it hits) if ye shoot 4/0 out of a simple plasma pistol, it also multiplies. 2 (ammo per shot) times 4 (script effect of ammo) means a plasma pistol shoots EIGHT BEAMS AT ONCE. now flare guns are the most impressive with tiny tots. the flare gun uses 10 ammo per shot. and tiny tots is 9 little nukes.so. multiply. 10 times 9 is NINETY MINI NUKES IN ONE SHOT. experiment with it. it gets fucking WEIRD. 👌👁️👄👁️🤘

OWB has some of the most funny characters I've ever seen. I mean *the damn toaster* has more personality than a good chunk of FO4's cast. It's like the institute was supposed to be the think tanks only they take themselves too seriously.

I remember the first time I was sleep deprived playing new vegas, it was 4-5am, the sun was rising. I had just began dead money and immediately felt like I was drugged and dropped into the sierra madre, I think I got up to the opening before I finally keeled over. #savesometoastersfortherestofus

@@Usebitchute Yup. I've played New Vegas all the way through 5 or 6 times, and every time I play it, I'm just as engrossed as the first. Fallout 4, I played twice, and it's not even close. There just isn't the same attention to detail in 4, it feels more slapped-together, which is hilarious, because New Vegas _was_ hastily put together in 18 months, while Fallout 4 was a full sequel, with a full-length development time.

The way he says "asshole" in OWB's credit roll always gets me.

i've started playing fnv not too long ago, and now my youtube feeds are filled with fnv shitposts. intriguing...

Every playthrough after that, I play the game start to finish collecting Coffee Mugs and Cigarette Cartons/Packs(for the Sierra Madre machines). I will outright loot entire settlements for those damn mugs. My Couriers always walk the line of Evil/Very Evil because I steal so many mugs.

Playing Tale of Two Wastelands, I'm collecting Capital Wasteland cups to bring over to the west coast just for Muggy.

That entire DLC is just one big laugh, from the opening with the robo floating jar brains to the fucking amazing casting of the guy who plays Doc Venture it's just great.

Eh, that’s sounds kinda fanboyish. One thing’s for sure, they’re definitely not as flat or unfunny as the majority of NPCs in those games, and the voice acting is generally better too.

Ever since OWB came out it has been kinda divisive. A lot of people complain about the enemies having really high HP, the lack of a "serious" story, and the amount of fetch quests. I think that these criticisms are unfounded and that it is the best FNV DLC, but a lot of people prefer Lonesome Road or Dead Money. Honest Hearts is generally agreed to be the weakest DLC in terms of plot and adding gameplay mechanics, though it is still rightfully held in high regard.

OWB has top tier writing that brings back some of that old-school Fallout humor, but I do find the gameplay sort of uninspiring personally. Maybe that has something to do with a lot of my playtime on it being the PS3 GOTY edition which famously has worse performance the longer you play and I was crashing every 30 minutes or so at that point.

I honestly don't know why I enjoy these videos. I don't really laugh all that much when I watch, but they're very satisfying to watch unfold

Muggy is quite possibly the best thing in all of Old World Blues, and I loved almost everything about that DLC. Whenever I start a new playthrough I go out of my way to stash every coffee mug I find and bring it with me to the Big MT. I usually get far in the main story and finish DM and HH before OWB. Also, since Dr. 0 made muggy and has the same voice actor as Dr. Venture, I sometimes picture Dr. Venture creating Muggy.

I don't know if I can overstate how much I love Old World Blues. The fact that the developers created incentives to seek out and collect items that would otherwise be useless junk in your way is one of many things that makes it such a good DLC

Old world blues is really really really good, honestly all the FNV dlcs are amazing in their own way, but I have an even more controversial opinion my favorite is dead money
