Easiest method to kill snails is to spray vinegar on them at night when they come out. Make sure that the vinegar doesn't fall on the plants.

Glyricidia leaves (Konnappathal or english pathal) is a good repellent for snails. Fill the pots with glyricidia leaves then put soil over it .Keep it for one week then plant seedlings. It is a good organic manure too .

Just put a pinch of Salt ( Powdered salt available in the Market ) over the snail... immediately the snail die & melt... easy n cheap method... Very usefull...

Madam ഞങ്ങൾ ഇപ്പോൾ ഒച്ചിനെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കാൻ ചെയ്യുന്നത് Reliance ഷോപ്പിൽ നിന്നും വാങ്ങുന്ന ഫ്ലോർ ക്ലീനർ (Phenolic cleaner)Expelz എന്ന liquid ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ്. ഒച്ചിന്റെ പുറത്ത് ഒരുതുള്ളി ഒഴിച്ചാൽ അത് അലിഞ്ഞു ഇല്ലാതാകും. ഇത് Gio mart ലും ഓൺലൈൻ ബുക്ക്‌ ചെയ്താലും കിട്ടും. ഒരുബോട്ടിൽ ( 500gm)ന് 50 രൂപയാണെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നു.

snail killer മണ്ണിന് ദോഷമാണ് എന്നാണ് കരുതുന്നത്. കാരണം കൊടിയ വിഷമല്ലേ

ചെറിയ കോണാക്റുതിയിലുള്ള ഷെല്ലുള്ള ഒച്ചുകാരണം ഒരു ചെടിയും നട്ടുവളർത്താൻ പറ്റുന്നില്ല, താങ്കൾ കാണിച്ച വൈലറ്റ് ചോക്ക് ഞാൻ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നുണ്ട്,എപ്പോൾ കുറച്ച് ഒച്ചുകൾ ചാകും അതിന്റെ കുഞ്ഞുങ്ങൾ പിന്നെയുംവളർന്നുവരും, ഇതു കാരണം നിരാശ തോന്നുന്നു, ഇതിന് ഒരു ശാശ്വത പരിഹാരമില്ലേ
