We have the same idiom here in Turkey , if you sleep with blind, you will wake up squint eyed😂 But I didn't understand the third one about Rome, is it about one needs to sacrifice or put effort to win something? Or just the opposite? The rest idioms we have also the same. Anyways the third idiom is still confusing for me. Or if l stand and lose my chair, then if one is greedy then he loses what he has at hand, which one is correct?? What if all are wrong, that's also possible, l need to stop l guess 😂
