Italian Easter Cookies (Paste Di Pasqua) | Baking With My Mom!💗🐰

In this video, I am baking traditional Italian Easter Cookies (Paste Di Pasqua) with my mom. These delicious cookies are not too sweet and pair so well with coffee, tea or milk. They are not just for Easter, you can bake and enjoy them year round for any occasion! They freeze well, too. Happy Easter!
Ingredients:
4 Eggs
4 oz (1/2 cup) Milk (warm)
3/4 cup Oil (in this video we used Sunflower Oil)
1 1/2 cups granulated Sugar
1/2 Lemon (grated & squeezed)
1 teaspoon Ammonia Bicarbonate
1 (16 g) Packet of Baking Powder with Vanillin
1 ( 0.5 g) Packet of Vanillin Powder ~ optional (for adding more flavour)
All-purpose Flour (as much as needed) ~ approx. 3 to 5 cups
(NOTE: The original recipe made a huge batch of cookies, so we have cut it in half. Also, if you cannot find the packets above in your local grocery store, they can be substituted with regular baking powder and vanilla extract.)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Dough should be soft and workable.
Cut a piece and roll into a circle (like small donuts). Cut little slits around outside of circle.
Beat egg and brush on cookies. Can sprinkle with coloured sugar, balls, or granulated sugar (optional). Bake on parchment paper lined baking sheets until they start to colour.
Remove from oven and cool on cookie racks. Enjoy!
