A Queen of Emotions. The one and only. Last yeaar I've been to her concert, I drove for six hours, every mile and every cent well spent! This performance is about 25 years older and I can tell she hasn't lost anything. Her singing, performance, delivery..... A true artist and a true lady. Comment from an old rock/metal/prog guy...

Yes she is first and foremost a songwriter and pay a lot of attention to the words and the story behind these. This translates into the language/dialect details. Here, when she pronounced Sorriento, she also used the Napolitan accent. She is a language genius. For french, for instance, when she is in Quebec, she uses the quebec accent and way of speaking. In Belgium, she uses the belgian "mode" and in France, she uses the "french" mode. And when she speaks English, american reactors believe she is a native.

Yes. I was told that Lara honored Caruso by singing in the same dialect that he would have had. Just my 2 cents.

Lara Fabian was very well trained by the best opera teachers from Belgium and Italy, but she decided to sing pop songs, she als has the knowledge to sing in operatic way, she studied from her 8 to 18 at the Belgium Conservatory of Music (there she learned Bel Canto, piano [she composes her own songs on piano)... Then since 1998 she kept having vocal lessons with her Italian teacher untill nowdays, she has two vocal teachers (From Belgium and Italy) and she keeps having vocal lessons at least 3 times per week on-line. Lara also workz as a vocal coach on The Voice Canada, she already worked as the vocal coach at the Star Academy program in France from 2004 /2008. Here another Italian she LOVES to sing, one of her idols is the Italian singer Mina. ❤❤ Her mother used to sing Mina's song to her. Ciao CIUFFO bentornato a LARA dopo due mesi e su di lei non c'è più niente da dire è una straordinaria artista ,peccato non ci siano i sottotitoli ai tuoi commenti e ricorda se continuerai a seguire LARA ci sono video di macadamia restaurati magnificamente nel suono e nelle immagini (questo di caruso è molto scadente....per me). During the San Remo festival in 2015 in Italy some commentators treated her with disdain, as an "unknown foreigner" Being half Italian and singing as well as she does, this would have been highly upsetting and insulting to her, but she maintained her composure.. I hope her then detractors have changed their tune now.
