    I made this today and it’s absolutely delicious. My son who has Aspergers was intrigued (he only eats things in “order” never together) and he wanted to try it (so brave of him) and he absolutely loved it. He asked if he could have it again for tea tomorrow. ❤

    Just a heads up, aspergers is called autism spectrum disorder now since the guy it was named after was found out to be a sucky guy, not sure of all the details

    Every worthy Italian sandwich has snp put on it. Prob most of them worldwide. I say you definitely do need a bit. It changes flavors different than just processed meats.

    Salt is not your enemy. Do your research. It is the food industry and diff organizations tell you that. Just like eggs and real grass-fed butter..they are good for you

    @@debraholmes2854indeed. I keep a rock salt in a glass jar with water on my kitchen window so the sun activates it. I take a big sip every morning. At least once a day

    I would chop meat separately and add everything into a bowl before mixing in condiments. I love how you took your knife and put the mixture into your sub roll from the board. ❤

    Made these tonight! So freaking good. I toasted the hoagie roll, and cooked bacon, salami and Genoa salami in a skillet for a few before cutting them up. Adds some more flavor depth in my opinion

    I made this, but after making it, i disagree with chopping the lettuce with the meat. It makes the sandwiche soggy. I made it a second time and put the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on top of the chopped meat. Sooo good.

    No, you are working smarter not harder. Whatever expediently gets the job done, right? If I use the food processor, I would probably not add the iceberg lettuce to the food processor and just hand chop it, but not as finely as she has.

    I can confirm a chopped sandwich will make you forget about all other sandwiches. Especially if you add some chips to it. Get a ciabatta roll toasted with garlic butter and go to town. Best sandwich of my life

    game changer- try using a bigger than life bowl and a large pizza cutter. layer the ingredients according to what needs chopping most first and toss with dressing last. enjoy!

    I would chop the meat separately and chop all the veggies at the same time so they don’t get mushy…then you HAVE to lightly toast your bread! This does look really good, though!

    Looks yummy...but this is why I tend to skip sammies, they're just such a PITA to make/clean up! If I wanted this or any other sandwich, I tend to go have someone else make it for me. FYI toast the bread, chop the veggies separate from the meats, and then mix them together and add the mayo, etc. after.

    As a Jersey Italian, some advice. That roll was all wrong! The roll makes the hoagie and it needs to be hard. Fresh hard not stale.

If I made it again, I personally wouldn’t chop it as much! It’s just what the original creator did so I was just trying to stay as similar to his as possible! Definitely lighten up on the chopping load for sure 😅
