It takes a strong player to solve this!
This study was composed by former world champion Vasily Smyslov in 2005.

I kind of got it. Imagine to pull something like this off in a real game. You could retire from chess with a smile forever on your face.
You channel’s unique approach is brilliant. I played around with this one for ages and got nowhere.

I can tell you put a lot of effort and research into making this video, and it shows.🌟🔥
Bravo Smyslov, not only excellent player and champion of the World also sophisticated composer👏
Fantastic study by Smyslov
If both players cooperate we can get this position on the board.
This is a very well-presented series. They all have very interesting twists and, unfortunately, they always fox me. Quite addictive nontheless.
I could solve it ! I guessed about the stillmate at h4, and that black king should be taken to C column.
Why can't the black king just crawl towards the rook on the upper rank. If the black king stays in the upper rank and crawls towards the rook after 4 checks the rook will run out of space and needs to stop checking allowing the black to promote the pawn.

It will transform into the same variation. When black king comes to c7 or c8 white plays Re1 threatening Rc1 and take the pawn. After Re1 black plays Be2+, white plays Kh3, black plays Bd1 and white plays Re3! Since black king is on c-file white will have Rc3+ after black promotes his pawn and it ends up in a stalemate after the promoted piece (queen or rook) takes on c3.
