Spot on there mate. That what I think knowing what I know about that area Veronica’s strip! Where he’d spent 3 nights clubbing before he went missing. He also had a 4 star hotel within a 20min walk away from the strip but went 40 miles away to a basic B&B to lay down for a sleep for 2 hours then decided to leave!!! 🤷. Nah we know that’s not what happened & remember this was his first trip abroad also. Veronica’s It’s a very dangerous place at nights especially if you’re involved in that scene. It has been a proper gangster paradise since the early 90s. You don’t get a 2nd chance with these people. Everyone on the island of Tenerife knows about it. The police the club owners & workers the taxi drivers all know that that area is ran by these people. Sad but true. ✌️

@davotdowell My daughter lives in Spain, and runs her successful business. She lives in a lovely part, away from the "resorts". Last Dec she was grabbed by 2 men, marched to her home, in a r@pe attempt. She managed to escape. Police were amazing. She gave them a good description and lots of details. By morning they had secured several security cameras from which they saw the initial attack and footage of one holding her arm and pushing her towards her home. A police scetch artist made a perfect image of one man. Next day she was called to the station again. With her behind a one-way mirror, she identified both men. Both were arrested and jailed. She was assigned a support worker and police began building the case. It goes to court in a few weeks. One man was given bail, but arrested when he tried to plead with her one day. We are very impressed with the Police. In fact, Spanish Police are near the top of best European forces. The problem with the resorts which are often overrun with young British men is that they are often drunk and out of control. There is a class of young Brit who plan their holiday to be filled with excessive drinking, drugging and being obnoxious. Theft is a common problem, because they flee home. There are now daily marches by Spaniards, demanding that Brits be banned from buying houses there, where the new owners make a fortune by housing British lowlife, male and female, who disregard all laws. I can understand why the Police in Tenerife are so fed up with young men like Jay. It costs a fortune to keep them inline.

I am not a Brit and this is my first time listening to Julia, or even this show. However, I found it impossible to listen to the entire piece as the presenter speaks at the speed of lightning and halfway through, her guest had just enough time to utter 3 short sentences 🫣

Jay fled, in panic?? Brad convinced him to share his location while on phone, brand screenshots it then sends it to Lucy, Lucy then gos and picks up jay with the 2 older guys, who then take jay to house….. And the Rolex is a bag of goodies he lost, hence why he fled Lucy and brad are not his friends more enemies if anything. They both sold him out after they felt the heat for the missing product.

She also & desperately so, needs to slow down her speech as it is barely understandable. I got the just of it only because of her repetitiveness, but ughhhhh, what a terrible interviewer ! I could not tolerate listening to her for any longer than that as she is way too much !
