For the crazy adventure to Monterey Car Week, I travelled direct from the AMG ONE drive at the Nurburgring, and that meant my Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series stayed in Germany at the incredible Saugmotoren garage. Having visited previously, there are some new cars in the private garage that was a huge inspiration to what I've done now with @TheShmuseum and it's great to return to see where some of that began. / saugmotoren
However, it's straight onto the Autobahn and the long 11 hour drive home, straight after getting off the 11 hour overnight flight back from Los Angeles - which is something only a crazy person would do! Nonetheless, there's good reason as it's in time for a very quick turnaround and onwards to Denmark because next up - collection of my Zenvo TSR-S!

The SLS Black is by far my favorite Shmee mobile. There is something about a car with gull wing doors, more so than scissor or dihedral doors in my opinion. Yours is also the best specced SLS, with the Mystic blue and silver wheels. I'm so glad to see it back on the channel.

I'll always say this. I think that 6.2l AMG engine is one of the most characterful road engines on the planet. Top 5 definitely. The bark on downshift, the overrun sounds...and if anyone has ever experienced one irl, they actually have a rev range where a flat plane tone comes through despite having a general very bassy grumble

@@slasheerr946 if you press the accelerate halfway, around 4k rpm the car has an interesting undertone. I say halfway so that you go through the rev range slow enough to hear it
you sir, completely deserve all the good things you have in life. you work so hard with so much passion that its incredible to watch. the amount of planning that must go on behind the scenes must be ridiculous. major props to you. hope you get your dream cars, Ferrari Competizione, Carrera GT, LFA, maybe an F50 as well

Thankyou for another great upload your car knowledge is crazy!👍side note..... electric cars definitely have a place in our future and can be crazy insanely fast.... but the noise of those down shifts the sound of the SLS at full tilt and the emotion that brings just cant be equalled! & again cant wait to hear the noise of the Zenvo at full chat!!!! I'm really really starting to love the colour of the sls I was a bit unsure at first but boy 100% the correct choice

Saug's collection is really one of the best collections ( yeah it doesn't have the crazy hypercars ) but it's a REAL car guy collection and the best thing that he actually TRACKS his cars which is really cool ..... goodluck with the zenvo Tim!! ❤❤

@13:20 - Oh yeah, well I worked for 15hrs straight on Friday night into Saturday morning so I could carve out 2-3 hrs to finally do some gaming on Saturday afternoon... but... ended up getting distracted by videos on KZread. Think what you’ve done / are doing with yours is very good - you’ve got the layout with the stackers bob on, so you don’t have to play too much Tetris to get that car you want to take for a run out. You must be totally bushed doing that journey on 4.5 hours sleep - but as you say, to go on a 747, take two of your lovely cars out for great drives, plus pick up the zen o, just living the dream!

Putting out 3-4 videos a week at your end is mighty impressive; it's got to be harder to find superyacht content than supercars! I have watched some of your stuff as it happens; as does my Dad. On this end, most Shmee150 videos now are edited by Brad who does all The Shmuseum content, but I still do probably 25% of them myself over all, and the odd things like Shwatch150.

You passed right by me (Genoa) a few months back when you were in Italy collecting your Ferrari I think. Great to have an editor! It's such an epic car
Zenvo's Chief Commercial Officer, Jens Sverdrup, in an interview with Top Gear published last week, confirmed that, Zenvo is developing a hybrid hypercar for launch next year. The car's powertrain will integrate a V-12 developed in-house and capable of 10,000 rpm . The V-12 will be turbocharged, feature electric motors to spool the turbos-just like in Formula 1-and come paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission.

It will probably be astronomically more expensive than the TSR-S unfortunately with all that hybrid technology and an in-house twin turbo V12. Potentially in the £3 - £5 million range.
