Personally, I'd rather have Kiermaier in CF over Jazz. But that doesn't mean there isn't a spot for Jazz on the Jays... Actually Kiermaier isn't exactly known for his long stretches of being healthy either.

If the Dodgers wanted Tim Anderson, they would have signed him.

I think in this firesale the Marlins need to get more Top 100 Prospect bats. I'd do DeVries and Head instead of Lesko. Arias, Martinez, Head, DeVries gives you a stronger lineup to build around. Draft a couple outfielders and you're set. And you still have Perez, Alcantara, BOTH Meyers, Hampton and White.

They just need to trade Jazz Chisholm and get rid of Gordon, and Anderson. All three are toxic. Chisholm broke the locker room code when we talked about Miguel Rojas

As you can't really have too much pen pitching, Scoot to my Cubs for Matt Mervis (Crushing it in AAA and no home in Chicago), Mastrobouni (young utility player with lots of control left), and Porter Hodge. That's the #13 and #27 prospects from the Cubs along with a controllable utility player.

As a marlins fan, I dig all these moves. But like u said they are only great moves if they sign them all early

I’d trade everyone you said yourself except Arraez, I’d Build around him, Alcantara, Burger, De La Cruz, Sanchez, and Perez then get a haul for Scott, Luzardo, Bell, Anderson. Then I’d give Xavier Edwards a chance to play.

I'd love the Jays get Jazz but that's a big ask..

I’m a Phillies fan. But it’s beyond me how the marlins have these great players but still manage to underachieve and trade everyone. I get their ownership is cheap but you should not always mess up this bad

I'll also point out with the Tim Anderson going to the Dodgers I honestly don't think if would about "getting a natural shortstop more so they have gotten literaly nothing from Gavin Lux so far so Tim Anderson would be a nice bat as long as the OBP is there to put at the back end of the lineup because I would envision him scoring with the top six the Dodgers. I also think LA could be in the mood for a starting pitcher at the deadline. As good as Tyler Glasgow and Walker Buhler are and could be Glasgow I don't think has thrown 100 innings in quite some time and Walker Buehler hasn't pitched in 2 years. James Paxton has faced the 6th most full counts coming into his last start so his numbers could down. Clayton Kershaw lets face it hasn't been the best postseason starter. I'm just saying there is still the posibilly on what happened last year with them obviously if their all healthly the pitching is fine but there is that possibly

Right, I see the Marlins as stuck with Anderson since I think even if he did bounce back to a degree his attitude might put off teams. Regardless if someone did bite for him they would want someone else as well

Im from la and i feel so bad for marlins. They always have to blow up their team that becomes champions on other teams or they end up being great players. So much to list and not enough space.

The upper management for this team is so bad. They go through so many front office reboots. It seems like every time they make the playoffs, it seems like a fluke, and ownership starts firing people and they don’t build on the roster.

What id do 1) DFa Garcia/Tim Anderson and eat the $30 Million 2) Option Soriano and Nardi 3) Trade Luzardo, Scott, and Arraez 4) Extend Jazz and Burger 5) renegotiate a deal with Skip Schumacher for 2025-2027. He has proven he is worth the money

When the last 3 owners don't want to pay a dime for anyone and really don't care for the fans, this is what you have. They spent 5 mil in free agency this year 5 mil.

They could but kinda feel like I they do it's gonna be the ones like a year or 3 near free agency. If they do then we all might be dead by the time Marlins make it to the postseason again

Only issue I have with the Jazz trade is who is the face of the franchise if Jazz is gone? Is it Alcantara? I think someone who plays everyday is better to promote than a starter is.

The Marlins had a terrific season by their standards last year but it was very clear that they overachieved. Phillies proved that in the playoffs when they made quick work of them. Marlins basically have come back to earth this year.

Marlins get: shortstop Oswald Peraza, outfielder Everson Pereira and catcher Agustin Ramirez Yankees get: second baseman Luis Arraez. Trade SIM has the total value going to Miami at 29.7 and them getting 30.7. Forget Luzardo, he hasn't performed well enough to be remotely close to worth what you're suggesting. And the starting pitching hasn't really been an issue. Everyone in the rotation right now is pitching better than Luzardo. And the upgrade from Gleyber to Arraez is substantial, will help the team more than getting Luzardo and would cost WAY less. Now if at the deadline, Cole still isn't back or he's not the same guy... Then maybe swing a deal for a pitcher. But I would go for a more proven guy than someone with a mid 4 career ERA and a current ERA over 7. Not sure how that eases any "problem" at the top of the rotation. I mean, Rodon has a sub 2 ERA, Stroman had literally one bad inning so far this year and Cole is back in a month or so... Meanwhile, the team is third in team ERA, second in Batting Average Against and ninth in WHIP... And they have the best record in baseball... So I don't see what the problem is really.

Last fire sale? I highly doubt it but for now, let’s deal with this one. Robbie, you don’t think AA can talk them into dealing Luzardo to the Braves? I think AA will try to get by within the farm til the deadline but I digress. Your trades make sense and hopefully enough prospects will pan out. Time for a full rebuild for the fish. Why didn’t you have them trading Jake Burger? Let’s blow this roster up! He could bring back some nice prospects. It’s unconventional but let’s let another team hire Skip Shomaker. They’ve already voided oh is 25 club option so this is his last year. He should never worth a draft pick or 2. The Cardinals would be a greàt fit.

Don’t forget they had Yelich Ozuna Stanton then Bruce Sherman and Derek Jeter bought the Marlins. They had that fire sale don’t forget about thatone.

If only Derek Jeter was still in charge of the NY Yankees farm system in Miami. He could get these guys sent to the major league team in a heartbeat just like Stanton.

Arraez and Chisholm to the Jays for Manoah , Francis , and 3 or 4 minor leaguers ( excluding Tiedeman ) for a blockbuster trade.

Id be interested in jazz but not for orelvis hes pretty much mlb ready and were gonna need another stud in case we lose one of vlad and bo to free agency

I don't think Tim Anderson has much appeal anymore. If he gets traded along with Tanner Scott I have a hunch Anderson will be on thin ice if anybody bites and gets released pretty soon if not immediately after the trade.

The Marlins being the Marlins as always, they can’t ever build anything to save their lives. Besides their 2 World Series titles they’ve only made the playoffs 2 other times, so 4 times altogether in their 31 years of existence and have no division titles alongside only 8 winning seasons. If it wasn’t for those championships in their early years they’d have a worse history than even the Rockies.

Why? How many firesales does it take to field a competitive team? What it's time for is the MLB to force an ownership sale again.

I think Jesus Luzardo is pretty overrated. I watched him pitch recently, and I’m not going to judge him on one start, but his stuff just doesn’t blow me away.
