CEOofFRESH1 Indeed, but I have to both agree and disagree. You're right about liberal censorship, and while I'm not a fan of propaganda, it unfortunately falls under free speech. Is it disingenuous? Absolutely, but it is what it is. Here's the thing, we live in an age where everything can be fact checked and all information gathered with a few key strokes. People who fall for propaganda are either lazy or ignorant. The ignorant should be enlightened; education can accomplish so much more than censorship.

"liberals censor far more than anyone else" Do you have data or facts to back this up or is that what Alex Jones told you? Trying to correct fake news or inaccurate information is not "censoring". Most of the propaganda comes from the fake news anyway (Trump endorsed by the pope? Trump won the popular vote? etc.) All those fake stories aren't facts and are just made up because the creators of it make money when people like you make them go viral or whatever. You just believe it because it furthers YOUR narrative and you fall for it without evidence or verification. By the way, this is a comedy show and parody is protected as free speech. Should Bill O'Reilly or any right leaning "propaganda" be censored as well? Your answer might be that he is not on public TV, well he is easily found on the internet. Should that be censored? Who decides what gets censored and what doesn't? I guess as long as it is someone who agrees with you, right?

David Ramon Well said. The sad truth is our media is a joke. The two sides only serve to divide us as a people. The media is supposed to be politically neutral. Now, I'd like to apologize to the OP for continuing the derailment of the subject of the original comment. Indeed Colbert, has fairly good vocal control and honestly wasn't that bad.

I think there is way too much political advocacy by entertainers. This makes it very hard for me to watch them once they ridicule perfectly serious candidates. While Mr Colbert is entitled to his opinion (1st ammendment of Bill of Rights) he has no claim upon my viewership (which he has lost permanently). My recommendation is to be nice to all but don't advocate one over the other.

Brexit, terrorist attacks, the attempted coup in turkey, the Zika virus outbreak/epidemic, killer clowns, the death of Harambe incident that became a huge meme and made national news, Black Lives Matter protests, and all of the Hillary vs. Trump election drama. 2016 was quite memorable. Tbf, it took fucking 2020 to actually challenge all of that, and that year basically wasn't allowed to even happen because of a global pandemic. Plus damn, 2016 took so many icons.

No, my dad was. I was born in 89, so all I recall about them was stuff from the 90s. But I do know who Micheal Stipe is, recognize the voice from a mile away..and I just remember it was played a lot after Lewinsky and prior to change of millennium. Just before my time and that's all I recall

Darkion Ok, let's not over exaggerate here, it did portay at least a fraction... But I personally liked this years rewind, not my personal favourite though. I don't get why people hate it so much, it did portray just as much as the other rewinds, this was just a genuinely shitty year.
