CoCoVid info:
1.What is CoCoVid?
CoCoVid is an online, interactive event that will be put on by the members of CosTube during the weekend that would have been Costume College.
It will consist of individual members of the CosTube community uploading videos to their channels at unprecedented numbers over the course of 4 days.
BUT WAIT! There’s more....
CoCoVid will offer:
· Nearly One Hundred Videos
· Live Panel Events
· A Virtual Red Carpet on Instagram
· A Virtual Sunday Undies on Instagram
· A Discord Server to Hang Out with Other Participants
· A Reform Dress Fashion Show
· A Badge Collection Game Similar to Ribbon Collection at CoCo
· Stitch Sprints for Maximum Productivity
… and Even More Surprises!
2. Where will CoCoVid be held?
CoCoVid wil be held on KZread, Instagram, and Discord! Just show up on the internet and you are there!
3. Do I need to register for CoCoVid?
Nope! It’s all available to everyone, just like KZread and Instagram are normally!
4. What does it cost to attend CoCoVid?
Nothing! CoCoVid is absolutely free to all!
5. Is CoCoVid associated with Costume College?
No. CoCoVid it is not in any way associated with Costume College. We are just a group of people, some of whom attend Costume College, and are very sad to miss it this year. We wanted to bring
some of the joy of CoCo to our fellow costumers, and so we are!
6. OH NO! I am busy that weekend!!!
That’s ok! You may miss some of the special events that we have going on, but, for the most part, all the videos will live on forever so you can watch whenever you are able!
7. When can I get my hands on a schedule?
A schedule will be published about a week before the event. We need to give the content creators time to work their magic and room to create as much awesome content for you as possible.
Please be patient as we get this event together and keep an eye on the @costubeguide account on Instagram for information as we have it. They will be hosting the schedule once it gets created and keep you informed about all the wonderful fun!
Thank you for your interest and we hope that you will join us for a weekend of costume fun!

I remember the 1870s, good times, I was such a Foozler back then, it brings tears to my eyes thinking about the nostalgic memories of going and stealing apples from the neighbor's yard.

I've just got to say, I love the underwear (minus the corset). If I could wear the under dress and bloomers alone, I would do it, LOL.

Love the hair style it's really cute. I know what you mean with bangs, it's hard to shape the hair into real bangs. Shhhhhh, I'm going to give you a special and secret tip. (I found this out when I was experimenting with a victorian style wig. When I do my wigs , and I wan't to do a bang illusion, I do what I call my Elizabethan frizz method, but only the section that would be bangs. This method with the aid of a photograph as reference (link below) I made false victorian bangs. ( for beginners I suggest trying and practicing this method first on a hair piece/ doll, or salon mannequin head before actual hair. Practice is best first. ) Section out the area of hair that would be the bang area, and the rest of your hair pull it back or clip it out of the way. Now comes the interesting part, make the bangs into rows, the thinner the rows the tighter and finer the curl. With an un sharpen pencil, or a paint brush handle, the thickness of a pencil, take a piece of hair and roll it as tightly as possible to the scalp and into a pin curl. Hold that down while sliding the pencil out. Secure the pin curl with two hairpins/bobbypins in a criss cross motion making a letter X. Do this to each section of rows of hair until you have pinned them all down into tight pin curls to the scalp. Spray the area with warm water, but not too hot. One sprints of hairspray to help , more than one sprints will make it too hard, so only one, but very light and not too close to the hair. Afterward, curl the remainder of the hair as you desire and keep in until next morning. Now this next step is very important. The next morning when you remove the hairpins, take the curl strand, and very carefully loosen it from the scalp. Repeat this on every strand and then comes the fun part. (if you don't loose the curl light, the brush out step will be very painful and your hair will hate you for it.) Lightly brush out (not too much or it will be a frizzy hair ball) tease it slightly down as well as pin and shape it to your desire shape. (When I did it the first time I used this photo as a guide to pin the false curl bangs. ) img0.etsystatic.com/000/0/6135382/il_570xN.312449808.jpg

My pleasure! Also, I saw that you asked a question on one of my older videos about me not using a thimble, but I couldn't answer it for some reason. I didn't use a thimble except for heavy fabrics for a long time. I am self taught and just didn't use one. I have learned to sew with one since then, though, and now I use a thimble whenever I hand sew.
