I second it!!

No, you're totally right about the Maranta! They're prostrate growers- or like creeping spreading. So that sort of growth type I usually take as a sign to prop. I almost see it in the same light as a flower in terms of it's happy enough to spread :)

My Frydek just gave me an *almost* perfect half moon. I love that plant (thanks again for thinking of me!). I am SO GLAD your Frosted Heart is treating you well!

How close is the squamiforum to the Florida green because they look so similar

I'm pretty sure the florida green is a hybrid between the squamiferum and the pedatum, so your observation is totally correct! they're very similar.

You did not mention this but I want to ask anyway, about the Alocasia Frydek and it's inflouresence. Does it stink?? My Alocasia Dragon Scale has such a God-awful odor that I have taken to cutting them off. AND it sends up 3 THREE out of one stalk!!! Is that normal? And can I ask, when you are doing these tours you are skipping over Calathea's and other "less exciting" plants, but I love the Calatheas and Syngoniums and Aglaonemas (if you had any of them). Maybe do a tour of them sometime?

oh yes, my frydek didn't have a strong smell, but my alocasia dragon scale also smelled awful when it bloomed, and it threw out three in a row. my husband called it the "trash plant" for a while, haha. for sure, I'll keep that in mind :)
