I wonder how Shiki discovered the points of death in the original. This remake made it feel like the climax of season 1 of a 3 season anime.

It was harder simply due to the fact he was fighting chaos who's body is just pure concentrated darkness, and the lines/points of death in the og are red , so are the eye colors of all 666 of his beasts That's pretty much what happens when he tried to get the drop on chaos he stabs his "point" of death from behind but then more red dots start popping up and it hits shiki that he just got jebaited

Chaos made a mistake, when he saw Shiki was simply killing all of his 666 lives one by one, despite the fact that normally killing one of his beast simly melt it back to his body to resurrect immediately, Chaos fused with his remaining beasts to buff his fighting power immensely, but condensed his lives at the same place by doing that. Shiki stabbed all of his lives simultaneously during hteir last exchange of blows. Chaos should have sacrificed some of his beasts to tire Shiki, even if this exposed him to Arcueid counterattack, but he panicked when faced with Shiki's unknown power for the first time in his life.
