This is why I think that reading the Old Testament is so important, because It helps us to understand the true weight of sin that was carried by Jesus for every one of us.

The devil uses our Free will and weakness against us, He has NO power over us unless we allow it and come into agreement with the temptation. We born again christians do not have a sinful nature because Jesus took away sin for us as we got batised in Jesus name. Our old self (with the sinful nature) is burried /dead and we are a new spiritual creation in Jesus Christ with a new pure and holy nature in Jesus. We are then not in the flesh anymore but in the Spirit who makes our bodies(flesh) alive so we do not sin (Romans 8) as long as we walk in his Spirit. Galather 5, 16 "Walk in the Spirit and you will not fulfil the lust of the flesh." Only if you leave Jesus (=stop Walking in the Spririt) you then can't resist temptation again and sin, but if you stay Jesus you can resist all temptations and do not sin.

Everybody sins. That’s why it’s good to pray so then we’re forgiven & purified by Jesus’s love ❤️. I pray in the morning when I wake up & when I come home. I pray before eating dinner.

@@yurytitarciuc4540 you can. Believe me, you can. I never used to pray. I wasn’t a proper believer but now I am. I found Jesus Christ about a month ago. I’m no expert. I’ve just started to read the bible for the very first time in my life & it’s the first ever book I’ve started to read because I’ve never taken an interest in books in my life. All I cared about was movies & video games but so much has changed. Jesus has shown me the things that I’m supposed to know at this point in my life. I don’t know how to pray like the people who are very experienced & knowledgeable & I don’t know the quotes from the bible but I talk to Jesus Christ & I tell him thank you for protecting me, keeping me alive, giving me a home, a family that love me & giving me food. I promise you, you will be blessed by Jesus because he loves you so much. He loves everyone. Start slowly with the prayers. Even if it’s a few minutes. My prayers are a few minutes long sometimes but It makes a big difference when you start to pray ❤️. I don’t know who you are but listen to this. Jesus Christ loves you & I love you as well ❤️. Your reply made me feel better because I was upset but now I feel stronger. The Holy Spirit works in mysterious ways. If you have faith in Jesus. You will feel strong & the pain & negativity will go. I’m not an expert at praying but I talk to Jesus & tell him thank you everyday for blessing me & waking me up & I pray for forgiveness because everyday I’m sinning so that’s why it’s good to pray everyday because it cleanses our soul & then we get blessed by Jesus’s love & strength. Even if it’s a few minutes. It makes a big difference.

Repent, pray, fast, seek God, read more bible pray more do everything to become born again so you will stop sinning forever

Sometimes the Devil or demons influence us, that is true, but we still make the decision. Other times the devil does not influence us, but we are tempted by our own sinful desires - James 1:13-15: 13 Let no one say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God,” for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempts no one. 14 But each person is tempted when he is lured and enticed by his own desire. 15 Then desire when it has conceived gives birth to sin, and sin when it is fully grown brings forth death.

According to my kjv Bible it says there’s either God or satan. We have the ability to choose one or the other and follow whichever you listen to.

I remember reading about Watchman Nee meeting a Christian guy with a sad face. The guy explained how he was struggling with his business. Watchmans Nee response was to start resisting the devil. The devil tempts us, but we decide whether or not to give in to it. We decide to either listen to the devil, or listen to Christ. As the saying goes, you can’t stop birds from flying over your head, but you don’t have to let them nest of your head. You can’t stop the devil from tempting you, but you don’t have to give into that temptation. For when you are tempted God provides a way out. And eventually, after every God given victory you claim, the devil will flee.

The devil deceives, and we choose to either believe the devil or Jesus and his truth. But the same taking responsibility goes for people who commit crimes, or are abusive. Im in no contact with my family because of mainly the constant psychological abuse from my parents, and siblings. Now, I pray for them, and forgive them, buf I will not tolerate abuse. I noticed that many believers are being told to just tolerate abusive behaviour from others. For me personally, I had to distance myself from them completely, because they got way too many demons in them. Everyone has to take responsibility for their actions. And the good news is, is that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, so we may have eternal life, if we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior. And only through Jesus can we receive God's gift

Charismatic deliverance ministries, I notice teach doctrine that is contrary to the teachings of Christ. Instead of repenting as the Word says, many are led to believe they need demons cast out of them as born again believers. Many don't understand Jesus set them free and they are no longer enslaved to the flesh. They attribute sinful acts of the flesh to demons rather than take accountability for their actions. Sanctification is a lifelong work of the Spirit of God. Many assume if they are not living in sinless perfection, then they are being controlled by a demon of some nature. If they struggle with anger, then it must be a demon of anger. If they keep watching porn, it must be a demon of lust. There seems to be a demon for everything. So they are led to believe they need multiple deliverances rather than humbling themselves to the Word and repenting of their sins as scripture says to do. The finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross set them free, delivering them from all forms of bondage. I find many followers of charismatic ministries don't seem to understand what that really means. They rather accept hearing they have a demon, and need it cast out of them instead of taking accountability for their actions and humble themselves before the very Lord that delivered them to ask for forgiveness.

This comment makes a lot of sense. I suffer from demonic oppression however I think that “waiting to be delivered” can actually enable people and stop them from addressing the root that caused the oppression to begin with and cause them to deceive themselves thinking that a demon is causing temper problems or lust and they won’t be free from that until they get help, when in reality the Demon (s) couldn’t do anything if some root in their heart wasn’t already there. This is a good comment because it shows that we have the power to say no, I am making a choice to believe the lie that something else is controlling me and taking away my free will or I can choose to believe in the power that the cross provides to set us free. So thank you for this insight. ❤

I mean… we are to blame for the choices we make, there is no doubt about it. It’s the devil that knows our weaknesses and provides temptation of all sorts to lead us away from the Truth. He learns us how to defile Gods intention for the creation. But WE choose to do so, there is nothing that excuses us. Not our sinful nature, not our ignorance, NOTHING. WE let God down.

The falling of a high ranking angel and a third of his angels speaks volumes against the sovereignty of the false God being preached by the world today. This is just my thinking. But I believe people come to a point, that no matter what, they will never change. they have made up their minds. So the devil will never change.

It’s both. Sure we can blame our selves for everything and ignore the Bible about Jesus casting out demons. We can beg God for forgiveness. We can repent night and day. But guess what. The devil is still here. Not going to change that. Pride and Envy is a sin too so watch out.

Yes and no eve was being tricked , he didn't force her she was tricked , I myself experienced and still experiencing many tricks from the devil to which I'm saying no to and then he attacks me but God rescues me ......take a look at Hollywood those people are there by choice they chose that life maybe some were forced by their parents but at the end it's a choice

I do not have a sinful nature anymore because I am reborn in Jesus as I got baptised in Jesus name. I am now a new spiritual creation in Jesus. The old me (with the sinful nature) is dead and I am now in Jesus with a new holy, pure nature. I do not live in my flesh anymore but in the Holy Spirit who makes my body alive (Romans 8), so I do not have to sin anymore. I received the Holy Spirit before baptism but I was just next to him and with the baptism in Jesus name I was reborn in the Holy Spirit. As long as I walk in the Spirit I will not sin, because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus and in Jesus can't be any sin and thus I can't sin in Jesus (1 John). This is not just theory to me, it is life. Before I got baptise, my heart was broken and deeply damaged. My body started to have a great sinful desire, it was like a force over me I could not get rid off. And because of that I could not resist to watch p*rn but I did not wanted to. I was not able to resist temptations because I was under the power of sin (Romans 7). God showed me the solution, he told me I should get baptised in Jesus name and as I was baptised in Jesus name the power of sin was no more and the strong fleshy sinful desire was gone (Romans 6). I was able to not sin and still are able to resist all temptations as long as I walk in the Spirit (Romans 8). After some time I started to sin again because it seemed like my flesh was awakened and I did not know why and ask God why. He showed me I need to believe that I am 100% pure in Jesus. I believed that because Jesus told his disciples they are already pure because of the words he spoke to them as he washed their feet. And after that God showed me I have to Walk in the Spirit by listen to obey the Holy Spirit. As I did that I again was free of the fleshly desires and could resist all temptations so I did not watched p*rn anymore. But after some time I have played a videogame the Holy Spirit showed me I should not play. And thus I did not walked in the spirit anymore and was not able to resist temptations again. So I watched p*rn again if I got tempted even a litte. But as I gave up the game and ask for forgiveness I then walked in the Spirit again and thus my body was made alive again so I do not have to sin anymore and are able to resist all temptations. It is all by grace not by works. "But if we confess our sins, he is trustworthy and right so that he can forgive us our sins and make us clean from all that is not right in us." = 1 John 9 It is true the Holy Spirit makes our bodies alive if we walk in the Spirit. If your flesh, meaning your emotions, thoughts or feelings, wants you to do something that is against God's Word, against something the Holy Spirit already showed you, then you should not listen to those evil spirits or you will stop walking in the Spirit and thus do something that is against God. You then will not be able to resist temptations anymore as long as you don't repent and ask for forgivenes (confess your sin). We do not fight against the flesh as children of God because Jesus won that fight for us. We fight against evil spirit = lies. Words are spirit, evil spirits are lies and mean words. And evil spirits are also able to manipulate your body from the outside so you might think it is your flesh but in reality it is not the flesh it is the evil spirit / demons who are attacking you. Sometimes God let them test your faith. Because if you want to do something for God the enemy will try to stop doing it and then you need to overcome them by belive in God's Word of Truth instead believing their lies and manipulations. For that we need to equip the armor of God (have faith and have the Word of God in our hearts not just in our mind, and to beat the enemy we need to speak the Word of God sometimes). We overcome lies and evil spirits with the Truth of God, God's Word = Jesus.
