@@buzzdolanz7589 that is why you demand to talk privately to your lawyer and get the lawyer to hammer out a deal. he could for telling everything get a misdemeanor with fine no jail or confession for immunity
He asked for a lawyer quickly: smart. He confessed to a crime as an alibi: not so smart. Even if he wants to make a point, he shouldn't make it super easy for law enforcement.

if you did something you can be arrested for, and you know 100% your fucked regardless of your lawyer, you should take his stance. because lying in a court room is worse than just taking a plea deal.
John Munch was one of the best characters on SVU. RIP Richard Belzer. ❤

Absolutely. Every time he was Det Munch in all the other appearances he made in other shows.
I'm not a Lawyer but if I was, I'd be dropping that guy's case. He wants me to defend him but his ego's making him shoot his mouth off!

@@CharizardMaster69 A good deal is based off of a trade. He gives information, they be nice during sentencing. The guy is giving up all his information. He confessed, told them where the goods are, and basically answering anything they want to know. Why should they cut him a deal when he has already given them everything he has?

fortunately that's not how it works and the "i don't work for you" line doesn't get you very far as a public defender it can actually cost you your ability to practice law because it's an ethics issue you have to give your client the option to fight or not fight whichever they may choose,you're not allowed to drop them because they refuse to take a plea or want to

"He did what ? In my underwear drawer.??"" The victim is really casual and calm but still gives all the information she can. Red baseball cap in Manhattan. Stalker. Likes blondes. That's really obvious to me Since L&O:SVU stories parallel present day events...

@@amandadane868 no, it's even MORE the case now than it ever has been. The illusion of "everybody is on the same team" has never held water - not at the city level, not at the state level, and DEFINITELY not at the federal level.
