The man's a total knob. On almost every video I watch on Talksport with him fronting it, he just looks for reaction after reaction but rarely adds anything of substance. Such a clueless clown he is and Jordan would be better suited talking to a brick wall..

One of the co-owners of my team Forest Green Rovers speaks with the media all the time, but I don't think it should be mandatory for an owner of the club to speak out. Owners like Joe Lewis employs people like directors of football to oversee all aspects of the day to day running of the club from hiring a manager, budgets and dealing with the media. Anything the owners has to say would go through them. You don't hear directly from Chelsea's, both Manchester clubs owners do we?

These two are at their best when clashing over the media's intentions. Love it!

Why do we need to here from the owner really? People only want the owner to speak when things are going wrong. Abramovich doesn't speak out but he has a spokesperson who speaks out when they want to/need to. I feel like it isn't entirely necessary personally.

You rarely hear anything from the owner. Once a business need to reach ten of thousand of people, you need someone to handle the press. PR is a job with no break. You are always communicating even without the communication. This is why we start to see more and more community managers in so many brands and at time different accounts and person managing them. I don’t think owner should be mandate to communicate. Club should communicate with others as they see fit.

If the club is running well then yes we don't need to hear from the owner if the entire club operates in unison. But when the owner is running down the club, refuses to invest, had 10 managers in 14 years, lacks ambition, makes decisions that affects the football, disgraces club heroes then yes we want to hear from the bloody owner. We don't want to hear from club owners about the football, we want to hear from the owners about the direction of the club.
