@@theroundtablenerds It is hard to notice as whoever did the subtitles clearly did not realise the reference and therefore used a similar phrase that has about the same amount of syllables for a smother flow "等価交換" (Toka Kokan) means "equivalent exchange" or "fair trade" so "tit for tat" is not wrong per se, but in this context, they were specifically referencing FMA It is easy to miss unless you know that phrase by heart (or understand Japanese), as it was only in my 3rd or 4th time watching it I got the reference (To be fair I had watched this for the first time before I watched FMA) Looking forward to the next few episodes' release I hope you are enjoying this as this was one of my favourites back in the day

the literary girl is a recurring story line and it's my favorite

But skipping the ending before even seeing a part of it?

@@theroundtablenerds It was definitely popular during its season. Another one you guys may not have heard about is Prison School, another comedy gold but more heavy emphasis on the erotica. Even I, someone who has distaste for ecchi and the like, enjoy it a lot. You guys should check it out after this one! Make sure to watch the uncensored version. Though you will have to heavily censor it to put your reaction vids on KZread lol

Guys, please watch the rest of the anime. It starts kinda slow, but know this, by the end of it you'll feel like you grew up with these characters, they'll feel like real bros. And, unlike Nichijou, most of the jokes here are perfectly made to be understood by non-Japanese viewers, universal type of humor.
