Yeah but they missed some jokes and a few points in the next episodes because they didn't pause the anime when they look at each other while laughing and joking around.

It was the bar scene for me. I got noise complaints cuz I was laughing so hard at 2 am at midnight. Legit couldn't stop laughing and my cheeks hurt. Actually not just the bar scene. The whole episode 9 just killed me.

We gone get at least 500 "yeeeeeeaaaahhhh" moments with this show.

Alright, for anyone confused- when they say "cousin" they mean that as an honorary title, like calling your godfather/godmother uncle/aunt. Their parents are good friends and hosted him for a few years, essentially helping raise him. it's customary in Japan, but such titles are also used in say, Russia and other Slavic countries. Edit: read the manga since (it's epicly funny). His dad was adopted by Chisa's family.

if there’s one thing I want in life it’s for this anime to get a season 2. So glad you guys are doing things

Yep, from what I remember Iori's dad was adopted by the Kotegawas (Chisa and Nanaka's family). As far as I know dating/marrying first-cousins is legal in Japan, it's just...weird (for us at least)
