Great video and very informative! I am thinking of putting that flyscreen on my Meteor, but still going to wait to see how you like it when out riding. Living in FL, I generally go without any windscreen or fly screen because it is so hot, it is nice to have an unimpeded airflow. Particularly on a bike that won't really see extended high speeds, anyway.

RE has come a long way. I have a RE Classic 350 and it manufacture superbly. German or Japanese fit and finish. Well done!

Good job, Old Man! The flyscreen was one of the first upgrades I made to my 2021 Fireball Yellow Meteor 350. The black flyscreen really goes with the blacked out look of the bike, and the yellow tank really sets it off.

G'day Ronin from Australia, great tips for the 350, l just love the look of that bike you have set up for you own requirements, Sorry no comment last video l was on a 4 day ride with some Club member's and watch it on a friend's phone, weather here has turned to crap, wet,cold and windy, thought Winter was over early as last two week were sunny, cheers mate keep safe, Neil, PS Pillion Princess sends her love for the shout out.

I'm 69 just sold my Honda 1979 cb 750 four. Bought a super nova 350 so so pleased with it. It runs like silk. The Honda became too heavy for me to manoeuvre around. Love your vids

enjoyed the video as usual, but a word of advice when fitting a genuine screen either the small or the large one as fitted as standard on the supernova, the plastic fixing brackets are a poor design and will break between the two fixing points or the smaller of the two allen bolts will pull the nut through the back of the resess if you tighten them with a little too much force, in fact very little force, just thought id'e let you know, one of mine was broken at the time i collected the bike from the showroom, that was replaced by the dealer the day after, but i took the large screen off mine after a couple of rides finding a lot of buffeting to my helmet and modified the brackets of a genuine interceptor small fly screen i got second hand to make the bike a bit different which seems to work fine for me.

Looking forward to that annual ride👍

Looks great. Makes me miss mine even more. It’s been sitting in the shop for a month now with neither the mechanics nor Royal Enfield having any idea how to fix it. It was fun for the week I got to ride it. I was hoping the video might share some insight into the workings of the engine.

What stood out for me was the music during the beauty shot near the end. The Royal Enfield has mojo and you can get away with using that sort of sound. If you were rocking a Honda Rebel or some other non-descript modern motorcycle, adding that sort of music would just seem wrong. It's a testament to how truly unique and exceptional the motorcycles in the Royal Enfield line are.

Nice info, thanks! I just ordered the R.E. touring screen and an adjustable spoiler for the top of the windscreen to avoid wind buffeting. I have a new set of Viking bags from another project I need to adapt to the Meteor. Get it all prettied up just in time to trade it in for a 650 Meteor... buy high, sell lol, lol.🤔

@@markymarknj If I lived in the mountains I would never sell the Meteor, but I'm in the flatlands with higher speed limits: 65 on the back roads, 85 on the major highways. 👍

@@lshort8842 the Meteor, like all bikes, isn't for everybody. For what I use a bike for, it's perfect. That's why I got it... :)

I can't decide if it looks better or not 🤷‍♂ but it might protect the instruments. Hope you get to do a DNA filter review sometime, there is a lot of conflicting opinions about it! 🤙

Another great video. I like the concept of the fly screen however I wish it were available in clear.

I looked at the shorty screen but went with the Touring screen mainly as it gives a bit more protection from rocks thrown up by trucks etc. It has proven it's worth in that regard deflecting a couple before they connected with me. Did the same as someone below and added a wind deflector on the top. There's meant to be a spare wire in the Interceptor light for connecting auxilary lights. Did you spot one in the Meteor headlight by any chance?

Oh I hope someone replies in the affirmative because I found an unconnected wire in the headlight assembly that is freaking me out! All lights & electronics are working without it though!

That screen looks nice! When you did the beauty shots afterwards the foot controls caught my eye, are they factory or aftermarket?

About the audio on your last 2 vids. Your new microphone dramatically stifles the volume. When music, sound effects or a quick vid clip are inserted, the volume comes through like it always has. The same with commercials, the volume is normal. But when you speak, it's like my speakers have been turned down by half. Just something you might want to be aware of.

I have to ask. I have a lower back issue that stopped me from riding my Harley. I now have a Can Am Ryker but still want that 2 wheel feel the Ryker does lack. Love the meteor 350 motorcycle for the $ you can't beat it. Is it light at a stand still? How hard is it to get out of a right turn? Those are the main reasons I had to sell my Harley. Too heavy at lights and too tuff to her out of turns. The arthritis couldn't take it.

Also - Touring seat is a bit stiffer and adds more lombar support. 1 of first mods I did and I feel the difference!
