It's ALL OVER, time to call it a day - Unexpected ending, Family overland African Adventure

This week our family overland adventure in Africa comes to an end. It's been a truly wonderful 14 weeks exploring the southern countries of this magical continent, but it's time to head onto new adventures.
It's been a tough week of exploring into the central Kalahari desert and on to South Africa. Plenty of obstacles and twist as well as turns on the way, with a wonderful surprise for us at the end. It's been a very busy week.
We are the Newbys, John, Tara, and our two little boys Crusoe and Sawyer. We’re a family who are pursuing an alternative lifestyle, and after two years of full time travel we’ve taken root on an abandoned farm in Northern Portugal which we’re renovating into our dream off-grid homestead. We release new videos every Sunday sharing our story, and we’d love for you to be a part of it with us. Please remember to SUBSCRIBE if you haven’t already, it’s free and super easy to do and it helps us hugely.
Thank you for being here. We hope that we can inspire you to Be Brave, Think Big and to Explore.

You can't blame yourself Tara, for the conditions at the campsite, these things are seasonal and could be totally different just a week later! I've so enjoyed touring with you and watching Crusoe discover the world around him, from an exciting bunch of grapes to a 'raffe'! Excited to see where you all are next!

Crusoe is such a happy and secure baby. Two parents within reach day and night and not going off to work is ideal for a baby.

WHAT a fantastic journey thru Africa! Something of dreams & bucket lists for many in our world. Following your journey takes the viewer right there as if they are actually there....or soon want to go there ! Watching baby Crusoe grow up from baby to 1 year old was such a delight along the way....he is truly a good little man, thanks to wonderful parenting. I look forward to catching up with your past travels and very present life on the farm in Portugal with Crusoe & Sawyer too. Best of health and future safe travels. I'll be watching! ❤🙏🐾 "👀"
