It’s all about the wood! - My Daily Life in Rural France - Ep 21 - Getting a wood delivery is one of the most exciting things about living in the French countryside - and one of the things I love the most about my new life in France! The only problem is, after the fun of the wood delivery truck arrival, I have to move all of the wood myself. That’s what living in the countryside in France is all about though :)
Subscribe to my channel so you never miss a video! I'll share my slow living videos and chat to you about my new life living in France in the countryside - with lots of stunning shots of France and French culture that you won’t want to miss. I’ll also share some home improvement tips and tricks and how-to videos, as well as tips on how to live on a budget in the countryside in France. Plus, my new series ‘New Lives in France’, where I chat with people who have made the move to start a new life in France, will go out once a month. I hope this will inspire you! With guest appearances from my chickens and cats, of course!

True but it would have to be a time lapse of several days :)

As a videographer and editor, I’m pretty sure you could end up with1-2 segments running 10-20 seconds (or 3 of various lengths?) that would add lots of visual interest and add to content length... not to mention that people love ❤️ watching timelapses!! You put in an extraordinary amount of hard work into this project why not turn it into an asset? Generally I love your photo-sense and your obversations! May I suggest that before you hit the upload button that you take a moment to reimagine the effect of expressing some comments as video? For instance, toss some of those wood pieces into the woodshed pile interspersed with flash cuts of the pile growing, then more falling wood pieces and pile growing, etc with superimposed title of “Tetris?” Then 2/3 ds of the way up the pile start pulling out a piece and freeze frame of the pile falling over and superimposed title of “Jengo?” (Of course you rig the falling stack to be pushed over be an offscreen assistant once you’ve positioned yourself - to one side so as to not block out the falling wood action - facing the camera with a horrified look ... and Voila! Another Hilarious Visual Pun is born!! Pardon me as I take a few moments to 🤣 at my own joke!

Do you know that you have to mix it with other type of wood? It burns very HOT so you cannot leave it burning in a normal stowe
