Nobody ridicules Ethiopian Jews. There have been mentality differences between the first generation and the other Israelis, which is completely understandable. But the younger generation is assimilating very well.. just ask them yourself and stop believing propaganda.

It's either you're deliberately distorting Dr. King's message or you don't understand his message. He wasn't referring to Israel as the promised land. He was referring to an America in which blacks and whites will be equal, where blacks will not be oppressed or discriminated, where people will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. That is the promised land he was referring to.

This is a misrepresentation of MLK. While he supported an Israel state. He considered modern Israel a colonial project of the West. He considered the treatment of Palestinians and more broadly the Arabs in the region (including Arab Jews) as inhumane. He supported the two state solution for Palestine and Israel. The promise land speech was in regards to the story of the Israelites in Exodus, not modern Israel. It’s important to actually read and study MLK’s legacy, not the convenient whitewashed version people want to paint of him to promote their own agenda.

MLK was pro Israel AND pro Palestinian. This is such a misrepresentation of what MLK wrote and spoke about. He was not referring to modern Israel when he spoke about the promise land. In his speech in 1967 he specifically referenced modern Israel, as it was a question after the 6 day war in June, he never mentioned a two state solution but he did talk about a Marshall style aid plan for the Arabs of the region. Those days the idea of a Palestinian nation didn't exist. The PLO was founded in 64 to destroy Israel, hence why he said Israel had a right to exist.

MLK was for persecuted people, he saw European Jews as persecuted and was advocating for their interests. Where their interests end, however, is when they do the same to Palestinians that was done to them in Europe. He believed the Palestinians also had a right to exist in their home land. What that solution looked like wasn’t as relevant as was the end of persecution of oppressed people.

@@xx133 I agree on his motives, but at that particular time, there was no popular movement for a two state solution, not by the Arabs anyway and my response was to the claim he supported that, if he did it was in reference to the two state solution as proposed both in 1937 and by the UN in 1947/8 and he was very clear on the right for Israel to exist as a nation state, he was clear on this in the late 1950's and again after the 6 day war whilst also advocating for a Marshall aid plan for Arabs. The idea he'd consider it a colonial project is not born out by his testimony on the subject. It was well known how the establishment of Israel had come about in his life time and he supported it fully.

The world events that we have celebrated as a fulfillment of scripture does not line up at all and is a flat out LIE. Lastly, God said the he would confront the descendants of the Israelites face to face in the wilderness once he brought the back to their homeland in conjunction with the 2nd coming!!!! I don't know of any documentation of a second exodus happening in 1948 where they were taken into the wilderness together as he did when he delivered our ancestors out of Egypt. Also, Christ himself said in Luke 21:24 "they shall fall by the sword and taken into captivity into all nations. And Jerusalem will downtrodden by Gentiles until the time of the Gentiles are fulfilled." Basically, according to scripture the people who are in the land now, Christ identified them as "Gentiles." They are not bloodline descendants of the actual Tribes of Israel and Judah. We are! The so-called black Americans and others who are scattered around the world through slavery as the scripture says. Please re-read these scriptures and ask yourself, "Is it possible that God could be this wrong regarding how he would re-gather his people and bring them back into their land?" And, as yourself this, has Christ come back for the 2nd coming and I missed it because then and only then are there supposed to be people occupying the land Israel calling themselves "The people." Man this was painful to watch but I'm praying that the dry bones continue to come alive as Ezekiel was directed. Please study these scriptures centered around prophecy on God re-gathering Israel (Northern Kingdom) and (Judah) both together at the same time. Ask yourselves if the people living in Israel since 1948 and they came to the land, ask if they fit ANY OF THESE SCRIPTURES? Crosses and crucifixes are just some of the idolatrous images that we were warned Not to worship... Christians should learn the difference between The Word of The Most High and Christianity. Christianity's many doctrines go against the Bible in various ways, and are thus in opposition to both Yahusha, The Word made flesh AND the Word that was given to the Israelites via Moshe/Moses. Like it or Not, believe it or Not, Christianity begins with Catholicism and Catholicism grew out of the Greco-Roman rule over Judea. What Moshe and Yahusha taught was not what we see today as Judaism or Christianity.
